[Video]Cricut Art Philosophy Campout Manly Birthday Tag

Yesterday was my husband's birthday and I wanted to decorate his gift package with a cute "manly" tag.  I love this tag that folds open from the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge.

Check out the cuts below:
And from an oldie but goodie Cricut cartridge - Campout:

I used new papers from Close to My Heart that will be available starting February 1.  The wood grain wrapping paper is from Target.

Here's a closeup of the tag below.
I wanted to use the Close to My Heart Card Chatter - Birthday stamp set because it is retiring January 31 and it's one of my favorite stamp sets!  Take a look below:
Check out the video below to see how to make this tag (Click HERE if you can't see the video):

  17. I do make my own gift tags, but I have to admit I have never used this cut even tho I own the cartridge! You show me so many things I have missed! And I seem to love 'em all! Thank you!

I cut a number of tags at once and then have the blanks to decorate when I need one! I'll keep one of these made so I remember how you did it...it's very nice for a male! Those are the hardest to create...they end up looking feminine when I'm done with 'em most the time, but this one is PERFECT! Thank you!!!

  19. I like to make personalized gift tags. I also like to have gift tags made up and on hand. That way if I don't have time to make a card, I can attach a tag to the front of a card blank and it serves as an instant card.

  22. Right now I do not use Cricut Craft room because Cricket is holding up my carts that are linked to a dead Gypsy. They want $39.00 to fix it and guarantee that it will work when done. I just use my carts on my machine. I really like the Garden Soup cart, though. Great images. carjo40@gmail.com

  39. I make gift tags all the time as well.....however...sadly enough, some of my friends and relatives don't realize how much/little time and effort I put on them...so..they throw them away. 73. Most people don't even pay attention to the detail I put into wrapping so I figure what's the point? If they were as much fun to make as this looks and don't take much time, though, I might change my mind.

  74. I've never tried gift tags, but they're on my "to do" list for next Christmas. I'm hoping to get them made during the summer so that I'll be all ready for gift wrapping at holiday time next year!
Thanks so much for the chance to win "Garden Soup"!! Love the cuts on that cart!

  75. Sometimes I don't plan very well and don't have time to make a cute tag. If I am organized enough at that particular time that I do a present and give myself time, I will do a matching/coordinating tag. I don't do them nearly as often as I should because they can be the "wowser" to a very plainly wrapped or bagged present.
