I use my cartridges most of the time. I think I only used cricut craft room twice so far.
ReplyDeleteI don't use Cricut Craft Room at all. I prefer to use my cartridges only. Have a great week!--Patty
ReplyDeleteI have never used the craft room only use the cartridges. I so look forward to an email from you showing us your newest creation, keep them coming and thanks for sharing with us. Have a great week. Janette
ReplyDeleteI don't use the CCR to craft I do use my cartridges only! Thanks for the awesome coupons and CTMH info.
ReplyDeleteHave a Super Sunday and can't wait for your next video and have to tell you girl I love having "JOY" in my life!!!
I love CCR. I like being able to weld and also hiding cuts. It is a great program and they have helpful tutorials. Joy I enjoy your blog and read it everyday. Thank you for your inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love CCR. I like being able to weld and also hiding cuts. It is a great program and they have helpful tutorials. Joy I enjoy your blog and read it everyday. Thank you for your inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI like to use cartridges.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried the cricut craft room, and I do like the cartridges. I can actually see them and hold them in my hand. I guess that's called security??? Love that new cartridge, Garden Soup.
ReplyDeleteLove this new cartridge!! I want to win. I have used Craft room and love that too.
ReplyDeleteI use CCR and carts. I use CCR if I need something I can't do without it. I used Design Studio so the transition was not difficult. I'd use it more but getting my computer and Cricut in the same vicinity is difficult.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried Cricut Craft Room. I use my Gypsy for all my design work and love it. So sad they don't support it anymore, but I'll keep using it anyway. Thanks for the coupons!
ReplyDeleteCongrats winner - thanks for the coupons and a chance to win!!!
ReplyDeleteI use CCR most of the time with my cartridges and do not link them..
ReplyDeleteI use both. It is hard for me to give up the hard copy so to speak :-) thanks for the opportunity to win. Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI use both the Cricut Craft Room & the Gypsy for my Cricut. Do not understand why Cricut is putting out a new machine w/ new software and cannot use Gypsy on new. Oh well. I was able to buy the CTMH Artiste cartridge and goodies at a Craft Show here in Plano yesterday with no tax & no shipping cost. Today I'm going to link it to my Cricut and try it out.

Mostly I just use the cartridges and not the craft room. I guess I am just used to doing it that way!
ReplyDeleteI use CCR all the time. Don't remember the last time I cut something just using cartridge in my Expression.
ReplyDeleteI use the cartridges and have never explored Cricut Craft Room. Whenever I have time (??LOL), I want to check it out, but for now I am used to using the cartridges. The welding feature would be great to use. Have to find some spare time. Thanks for the opportunity to win and keep those videos and ideas coming. Thx Joy
ReplyDeleteKathleen in NJ
I use cartridges. I've never used the craft room
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Ms. Joy..Happy Sunday to you...
ReplyDeleteI love useing Cricut Craft Room. In fact, I hardly ever cut anything with my cricut without using it. I am so, super excited about the Cricut Explore and the Design Space. My Johnny says he is getting me one because I am his "cricut girl". Anyways, I have been wanting to get Garden Soup, so thank you so very much for an opportunity to win one. Have a Blessed day.
I do not use the cricut craftroom, but have often thought about it! I love to still use my gypsy with the expression! I sure wish they would bring out a gypsy that you can add color to the images so that you can see how everything would look like before you create it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for opportunity qnd I use both but more of cartridges and I love my cricut!! u don't have this cartridge:)
ReplyDeleteHi! My name is Barbie and I use both but more of cartridges and thanks for opportunity to win and I don't have this cartridge:)
ReplyDeleteI had misplaced my cord for a day, so was unable to use my Cricut room, and was lost! So yes, I mostly use My Cricut Room to craft. I love gardening, so this cart is gorgeous. Did I tell you I snagged a couple of $50.00 carts for $20.00 each at Joann's? Great sale. Thanks for sharing and for the great giveaway. Say, what do I use to emboss with?
ReplyDeleteI mostly use cartridges, but I love my Gyosy as well. Thanks for the chance to win. I look forward to your emails and another project
ReplyDeleteI love CCR. I use it on almost every project! Thanks for the contest I love your emails they give me a lot of inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI really love my cricut and just prefer to use cartridges with my machine. Would love to win this one. Have been trying to get it through ebay but so far no luck. Thanks for all your great ideas, Peggie
ReplyDeleteHi Joy, I use carts only. I have a Gypsy but have only used it once. The Garden Soup cart is about the only one I
ReplyDeletedon't have and I'm scared that Luddites like me are going to be phased out!
Cynthia C from Sayre PA
I use both methods but I use the CCR more I love being able to do my own sizing and customize my images!
ReplyDeleteI love my carts but have a Gypsy that I learned to use and do use it a lot . The carts. are my favorite though.
ReplyDeleteI haven't even tried Craft Room yet. (blush) But I will! Really! And Joy, I want to thank you ... I don't comment often, but I get so much out of reading your blog. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteI've never used the CCR because it's not convienient to hook up my computer to my Expression. I really enjoy using the cartridges though and look forward to chances to win a new one. rosebud114
ReplyDeleteI absolutely 100% prefer to use the Cricut Craft Room. I think it's far easier than going straight from the cartridge. I have the E2. Thank you for the opportunity to win this cartridge, Joy. Your videos are amazing. They are helpful and informative. Thank you for what you do!
ReplyDeleteI have not tried the Cricut Craft Room yet. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteMary O'Neal
I have not used the Cricut Craft Room. I use cartridges in my machine in conjunction with my Design Studio. Jill P., Manteca CA
ReplyDeleteI've dabbled in the cricut craft room and find your tutorials extremely helpful. Thank you for the great videos.
ReplyDeleteFirst, let me say again how thankful I am to be last weeks winner! I don't want to be greedy, but I'd love to win this weeks cartridge! LOL! I have never used the CCR, I enjoy my cartridges and have never had the need . I keep thinking that one day I'll check it out but I'm too lazy to study it.
ReplyDeleteCCR all the way
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Donna!
ReplyDeleteI love CCR! The few times I've had to use my Cricut without it really made me appreciate the additional features available through CCR.
I ONLY use the cartridges.. I am not a techie person.. and for me it's just too much for the computer and the cutting.. I've heard it is simple.. but don't have enough tech support on my end if something happens and it freezes, quits, does something to the computer, I don't have anyone to help on that end... The cartridges are just enough for me.. L.r. Smith on fb pg...
ReplyDeleteThis site is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI use CCR. I love the welding feature and being able to size projects in the size you need. I have the gypsy but CCR is better for me when trying to do sizing and layering. Thank you, Joy for the chance to win. I love your videos.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win this cute cart.
ReplyDeleteI use both
ReplyDeleteI like using CCR when im going to cut multiple images in the same color at different sizes. I like to be able to move everything around and squeezing as many things in as possible, using less paper. Also like using it to weld objects together or take certain parts out etc etc.
However. I like using my cartridges directly in the machine. The process of cutting and getting things put together seems to go much faster to me but I end up using more paper than if I would have used ccr.
I use my Gypsy! I don't even know how to use my E2 without it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the gal earlier:
ReplyDelete"I like using CCR when im going to cut multiple images in the same color at different sizes. I like to be able to move everything around and squeezing as many things in as possible, using less paper. Also like using it to weld objects together or take certain parts out etc etc."
I did not realize that the process of using cartridges directly on machine goes faster ...
I too, have found using ccr does use/waste more paper.
I'd love to win a cartridge. thanks for sharing your tutorials.
I tend to go to my Gypsy 1st and then the CCR. I like being able get everything laid out on the screen, put all the colors on my mat and then cut. If I am doing just one big cut I will use the cartridge....like for the CTMH Artbooking overlays. Thanks for a chance to win a cool spring cartridge that I could use for my garden this year!
ReplyDeleteI really like the looks of this "garden soup" cart! Looks like fun. I do not have a gypsy and have not used the craft room that much, but like the ideas there. I have design studio... Please keep your site going, love looking around your site and on you tube.
ReplyDeleteI don't use the Cricut Craft room, I usually use my Gypsy. I still love my Gypsy!

I only have my cartridges and I love them. Especially the CTMH cartridges. LOVE LOVE LOVE! thanks!

I use cartridges. Have thought about trying the Craft Room and just haven't yet. The Garden Soup cartridge would be a great addition to my collection! Thank you for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteGrandchick77 from Missouri
I use my carts (bought used and already linked), my gypsy, the CCR and my E2. I prefer the craft room and gypsy as I can layout, rearrange and stack pages to see how they overlay.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win the cart - it is cute.
Karyn from Corpus Christi
I love the CCR and that is all I use. I like having the big screen to see how to position everything! Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI prefer just the cartridges although I am slowly using CCR more.
ReplyDeleteI use the CCR. I think it saves a lot of time in cutting out layers. Thanks for all your info on the new Cricut Explore!
ReplyDeleteTina

Love this cartridge. Would love to add it to my collection. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteDebbie M in north central Kansas
Thanks so much for putting the coupon back I don't get them so i look for here Thanks again......
ReplyDeleteI use cartridge
ReplyDeleteI like using the cartridge. I do use the craft room sometimes. Love your videos they are so informative.
ReplyDeleteI am kind of new to both the Cricut Craft Room and the Cartridges. Still trying to understand how to use both of them. Beginning to like the freedom that CCR gives you with creating. I have to get the Real and Relative buttons down pat though, I keep doing it backwards! :-) Thank you for sharing your projects with us, as well as, the store coupons!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Donnamarie Graves
I downloaded some digital images before because I really did not like the cartridges but usually I buy cartridges. I like using Cricut Craftroom when I design things with writing or letters. It just makes it a bit easier to see it on the monitor versus the Cricut screen.
ReplyDeleteI use my Gypsy. I Love being able to take it with me and design when I'm away from my cricut. I also enjoy being able to save time with cutting by using the whole mat since I can see where everything is going to cut.
ReplyDeleteYes - I do use the cricut craft room - I like that I can switch between my cartridges without changing them out!
ReplyDeleteI use both. I prefer the Cricut Craft Room for projects with multiple images and use my Cricut Expression. The Cricut Imagine however, works best with cartridges only. The Garden Soup cartridge would be a definite Cricut Craft Room additional. It looks like a fun one to "jump start" the gardening season.
ReplyDeleteHad a post disappear so I am trying again! Operator error so don't think there's anything wrong with site.
ReplyDeleteI use Design Studio almost exclusively. I have used CCR a few times and even have some great digital cartridges that can be accessed only thru CCR so I need to make myself start using it more. Plus so many of the newer cartridges can't be used in DS. Bu, I am a real technological neanderthal...I had to be dragged kicking and screaming into digital cameras from film cameras (now LOVE digital) and was dragged kicking, screaming and cursing from cassettes to Cds (and I STILL prefer cassettes to CDs). So I will eventually convert over but for now, Design Studio is my favorite design buddy.
Great gift to give your husband. I have the fitbit 1 and love it! I prefer the CCR over just putting in a cartridge . Love the woodgrain wrapping paper and the tag you made.
ReplyDeleteI love using Cricut Craft Room. I use it so much, that I forget where to find the tools on the Expression 2 screen. I can sit and create on my laptop before going to the machine to cut. I need to make a card for my brother-in-law, and I love the tag you used on your husband's card. Thanks for all your great ideas and tutorials.
ReplyDeleteI love your masculine card. I always as many others have a hard time making masculine cards
ReplyDeleteI love the card! I've always loved the stand alone feature of Cricut - I have back problems & can't spend forever at the computer to design something - and I LOVE the way I can flip through the handbooks to see my options (seeing only the pieces of a layered object just don't work for me!). So no CCR (or Craft Space) for me, although I ADORE my Gypsy (and even bought a backup) - it allows me to design while I'm on the couch, etc.
ReplyDeleteI have only used the Craft Room once--I think to weld something. The way my studio is currently set up, the computer and cricut are too far apart. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI use CCR for everything! I would be lost without it!!
ReplyDeleteI do both for different reasons.
ReplyDeleteI love CCR b/c I can use my paper more economically by putting images as close to the edge as possible. It's also convenient for visualizing how the finished image will look. In addition, sometimes I put multiple parts of the die cut on one mat arrange them according to the measurements on the virtual mat, and then cut them all in one go. The downside: CCR takes time to learn and also it takes time to do that extra step (including the time spent turning on my computer and waiting for CCR to log in).
I love not having to use a computer when I'm in a hurry, I'll just use the cartridge and the Cricut and no computer.
I use CCR. They have such cute cuts.
ReplyDeleteI use the CCR a lot...bc I am trying to get it all figured out. Perhaps you could have a video demonstrating how to make an A2 sized card...yes?? Whenever I use a cartridge that has a card shape or even your darling polka dot tree that you provided the CCR for...when I made it using the cuts you said..it was like a 3 inch card with a 4 inch envelope. It would save me time I know if on all the cartridges or cut files I own if they would be loaded to make a standard card...or even some of the cartridges have cads but they have a shape cut out if them. Perhaps it's just me...and I have read every video in YOUR YouTube library along with anything I can find but it just quickly shows how to size some pieces not using the real dial size Eric...I have figured all that out...and now a new cricut machine to learn that I heard doesn't use the crat room I iy yi...hence the Silouette is becoming my new friend but still use my cartridges and faithfully try to use the craft too..Perhaps I am craft challenged and no one can help. I did finally make your tree but in order to make it be an A2 size it said it was like 9 inches big or something...what do I know?? Thanks for all your technical info...I love how creative you are!! I think I am beyond help :) happy day!! Gabbylou@live.com
ReplyDeleteSuch a un cart.
ReplyDeleteI use only the cartridges. My craft room is upstairs and my computer is downstairs, so it's not convenient to use the CCR. I have the Expression. Can I even use the Craft Room with it?
ReplyDeleteI use CCR but I like my Gypsy better. ProvoCraft doesn't seem to be very good at developing software (I was a programmer for many years). For example, the virtual mat on the Gypsy doesn't match the real ones - they are numbered differently. I've emailed them lists of things to improve. I really hope the new Cricut (Explore) and software are better.
ReplyDeleteHi; I use the Gypsy.. love that little thing and pray it doesn't break for years. I'm not interested in using any machine that makes me be connected to the Internet to cut.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winner! I prefer not to use my computer and just use my cricut. Carri~Abusybee
ReplyDeleteSo excited about your latest giveaway - and thank you for posting all the current coupons! You are my go-to source! I tend to use CCR when I am either doing a big project or when I can pre-plan my cutouts. However if I am at a crop and just need 1 image, the cart goes straight into the machine :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter lives in MN and the only cartridge she has right now is the Artbook. So I am always glad to see something made with it so it gives her some idea's what to do since I live over 3000 miles away. I forward your post to her. Thanks for shareing your ideas.
ReplyDeleteI use cricut craft room sometimes but usually my gypsy
ReplyDeleteI prefer to use my Cricut cartridges. I rarely use the CCR but hope to use it more in the future. Thank you! ^_^
ReplyDeleteWill you being doing "How To" videos on the new Explore, Joy? That would be so
ReplyDeletegreat, if you did, because I subscribe, then those videos would come right to my
e-mail. How convenient!!!
The Explore machine looks very interesting with it's new features.
I use my cartridges. I don't have any internet access at home, so can't use the CCR. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWendy, MN
I only own the small Cricut, so I use cartridges. I will eventually get a newer machine though that has all the different capabilities. This giveaway cartridge is adorable! I could have fun with that even in my personal size machine!
ReplyDeleteI am a HUGE advocate for DS. I know a lot of people talented with the computer and design programs say it is limited but it does everything I need and I'm used to it. I know it. I have used CCR several times and do have some digital images and digital only cartridges but I keep going back to DS and use that whenever I can. I just have so much to learn on CCR and will probably eventually move over to it exclusively but until then, DS is my "go to" program.
