[Video]Artbooking Autumn Pumpkin Fall Cricut Card

It's finally getting cooler here and I'm getting in that Fall mood. So, I thought a pumpkin "thankful" card was called for!

I used the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut cartridge - it's fun that this cartridge can be used for so much more than just layouts.

Here I used two cuts for the focal point of the card - below are the sizes.

Now, a word about the sizing - those are correct!  Those are NOT REAL DIAL sizes.  Because they are both layered images, they need to be cut in relative sizing (which is the Cricut default).

[Video]Cut Fabric with your Cricut!!

Have you ever wanted to learn how to cut fabric with your Cricut machine?

Now's your chance - I have a video showing you how to do this below!

Today's "Trick or Treat" bag was made using the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut cartridge.  I made the following cut from the cartridge:
And then I got started on making my "Trick or Treat" bag (bag from Hobby Lobby).

Here's how to cut fabric in the Cricut:
1) Wash and dry fabric.  Then, using heavy starch, iron the fabric on high heat with no steam.  Iron item you are adhering the cut to.
2) Iron Heat 'n Bond onto fabric.  Be sure and follow directions on package of Heat 'n Bond (lower setting on iron to medium, no steam).
3) Cut "trick or treat" out from the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut cartridge at 8-3/4" REAL dial size using the following settings: Blade at 6, Pressure at 6, speed at 3 and multi-cut it 2 times.  If using the Cricut Explore, set dial to "Fabric". Fabric will be up on the mat, paper backing down on the mat.
4) Pull off paper backing on cut. Then iron as directed on Heat 'N Bond packaging.  DO NOT OVER IRON - sticky goes away if you do this!
Cutting and adhering literally took 15 minutes.  The most time consuming part was washing and drying the fabric beforehand.
