[Video]Close to My Heart Artiste Scallop Circle Christmas Card

I recently received a beautiful card from a friend made with this scallop circle card base and it inspired me to make my own!

Check out how it works (video below will show how to make it):
You unhook the outside scallop circles...
revealing the inner part of the card!
You can find the cuts I used from the Close to My Heart Artiste Cricut cartridge below:

I also punched out a circle at 2-1/4" and 2-1/2" for the outside pieces.  You can also cut these on the Cricut.

Here are the products I used:

Cricut Art Philosophy
Best Christmas
Snowhaven Paper Pack:
Cricut
Snow Haven Paper Pack
Artiste Cricut Bundle
Check out the video below to see how to make this (click HERE if you can't see the video):

  26. I love this card so much, I had to immediately pin it. What a fabulous cut/fold/layout! Thanks so much for the inspiration. I've always admired chalkboard art, but I've done only one card with a chalkboard-type embellishment. I'd love to really try doing it myself, though - with the help of my Cricut, of course.

  33. I like it. The problem is with me, though, as soon as I get into a trend, it changes (for example, I don't see anyone using that baker's twine anymore and here I am with tons of it left-over T_T I should just stick with classics).

  34. I rarely use sketches, but do like seeing examples other people have done. This is beautiful!

  35. I love your card! You always make everything look so easy & flawless! I've looked at this card cut on my Artiste cart a bunch of times & always liked it, so now you've inspired me to make it. Guess that's a great excuse for me to order that paper pack & stamp set too! See how easily I rationalized that to myself? lol. Done & done! In regards to the chalkboard look, it's honestly never been my favorite because I always think about fingernails on a chalkboard, which makes me cringe, but I do really love the Chalkboard Fonts cartridge so go figure! It's one of only a few font carts that I don't own (yet)! Anyhooo, thank you so much for the giveaway & for always being so inspiring & generous with sharing your amazing creativity!
