[Video]Elegant Cricut Artbooking Gift Bag

The Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut cartridge is extremely versatile.  Today's gift bag was made using just two cuts from this new cartridge.  The project went together in a snap!

Let's take a look at how to make this elegant gift bag:
cut the elegant overlay shown above at 9-1/2" using the real dial size button.  My gift bag is about 8"x10" so this was the closest appropriate size.

Again, the real dial size button is our friend!  Here is where to find the real dial size button on the cartridge overlay:
And here it is on the Cricut Craft Room:
Next, I cut the elegant "Celebrate" at 1-1/4" using the real dial size button.  Two cuts - one quick bag!

  25. Love your beautiful gift bag! Love the elegant design! I like to use the Tombow multi-purpose glue as it stays wet longer to give you time to shift things if you need to and dries clear. But it also looked like you could get one of those smaller glue runners in there too if you had one. Thanks for sharing!

    ReplyDelete

  46. I love to make personalised gift bags with matching tags. Easy to do & the recipient knows you put a little extra love into their gift.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I also love to make personalized gift bags. I make a card to match and like to make big flowers instead of using bows on some. Giving a personalized gift bag is part of the gift, an added something special.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I have made or embellished gift bags from time to time. I have a large stash from finding good deals on bags, so I am not always inclined to make one. I nearly always make my own cards, though. Love the bag you made.

  49. I shall definitely try out your ideas for decorating a gift bag!
Thank you for the great instructions!
