The entire layout is made using the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge bundle.
Check out the sizing below:
The first set of cuts shown above are all cut at 11" - note how they cut out proportionally and like the image in the left hand upper corner.
Next, I used the REAL dial size button to cut out some circles and my journaling block.I added gems as a last bit of detailing to dress up the layout.
I used the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge and one of the included stamp sets to stamp the journaling block (see below):

Like the Patriotic layout. This wll look wonderful with photos. I'm going to make ti also. Hot here in Plano which is just N of Dallas. Forecast is for 99 this weekend. I do not see it as much of a difference between 98, 99 or 100; all is hot to me and Aug will even be hotter.

Fabulous layout. Our weather has been pretty mild this summer.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, that circle/star background is awesome. Fabulous layout!
ReplyDeleteI love your layout. It's comfortable now (mid morning) but it will be hot by this afternoon. I'm glad that I have air conditioning.
ReplyDeleteReally cute LO!!! =) I live in So.Cal. so anything over 73 degrees is hot for me! =)
ReplyDeleteIt's hot here, but overall not nearly as bad as the past couple of years. I know August will be bad though. It always is. I love the layout. I am really looking forward to trying all the layouts and minis on Artbooking. Love that cartridge!
ReplyDeletelove your Freedom page. Has been in the 90s for 5 days already. Too hot for me.
ReplyDeleteI live north of Dallas, and it has been a mild summer so far. Woo Hoo.
ReplyDeleteIt has been mild here in South Dakota--only 1 day where it has been in the 90s. The high is forecast to be 77--I'll take it!! I love the Artbooking cartridge's versatility. I mainly use it to make mini albums to give as gifts.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful layout! I love the red overlay. Yes, it has been hot here for the past week or so (except over the weekend, when I was out of town), but this summer has mostly been cooler and less humid than usual.
ReplyDeleteOh it's hot and humid in Southern Michigan. What an awesome layout.....I am always amazed at the awesome cuts that are on this cartridge they just keep comin' & a comin' Thanks for sharing and always creating something that is so clever and creative. YOU ROCK!!
ReplyDeleteLove that layout Joy! It was hot this past weekend in San Diego. Hasn't been too bad for July but seems like it is warming up.

In western Michigan (Muskegon area) the weather has been great! Ok, it's been humid, but this is western Michigan, pretty much normal. But the temperatures have been great. We can open the windows most days and be comfortable. We've only had the air on a few days and never needed the heat on. Can't get much better than that!
ReplyDeleteWe went right from winter to summer with a hot spring, but now it is staying in the 80's, high 70's for July. We had great weather for the 4th, which brings me to your layout. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love your LO!! I have to find my pictures from years past that are already printed! I'm in nj and I'm hot, hot, hot! Going to feel like 100* again today, ugh! I'll take the snow and freezing temps over this! Saving my pennies for a pool next year!
ReplyDeleteGreat layout, I love the fourth holiday! Thanks for the video, I always enjoy them! It's been hot and muggy here; however, the fourth weekend was perfect!!! Alas, it's gone but not forgotten.
ReplyDeleteJust right where we are in Ohio. Love this tie of the year. Like your layout! We need to celebrate the 4th of July as a special holiday. Really do it up big so our children and grandchildren pass the tradition on to their families....That way more people will appreciate our country, our freedom and what America stands for. (I'm off my soap box now. lol)
ReplyDeleteI am in Dallas area also it's just seemed humid
ReplyDeleteI'm in Ohio - we've had a little bit of everything - hot and humid, a little cooler, and lots of rain
ReplyDeleteI love the 4th of July layout. We had thunder & lightening this morning, and some coolness. Now the rain has stopped and it is muggy.
ReplyDeleteQuite a mild summer so far in my area of Michigan, only a handful of really hot and humid days.
ReplyDeleteTriple digits the last couple of days. Cooler today, only 95 but humid which is unusual for Cali. Jill P., Manteca, CA
ReplyDeleteGreat page! I especially like the circle/star background.
ReplyDeleteI live in Houston, so yeah, it's hot. The high today was "only" 90 but as always, humid as all get-out!
Great layout. The weather here is hot for us. We are in the 90's here in E. Washington ,
ReplyDeleteReally nice layout, love the background.

ReplyDeleteIt's been hot and sticky for the past couple of days. Sure hope it cools down soon. Thanks for sharing your time, talents, and ideas with us.
ReplyDeleteHere it has been very cold and overcast. I am ready for some sun.
ReplyDeleteHi, I haven't got the New Cricut machine. I still have the Cricut Imagine machine but I didn't get that mean of the cartridges. I wasn't thinking that they would retired the Cricut Imagine machine before I was able to get all of the cartridges that I wanted. But that how the cookies crumble sometime.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day. :-)

Love the layout!! Has been real hot here where I live.
ReplyDeleteAtlanta area hasn't been terribly hot this year compared to other years. Pretty decent this week with highs in the 80's. Love this LO with one of my very most favorite carts! I love the 4th of July, too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful layout design!! So fun with the cut background! I just bought the Cricut Explore and have yet to try out but a few small things playing around with it. I think I'm going to love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity! Love the layout!
ReplyDeleteJoy,
ReplyDeleteGreat layout, great tutorial. It's been hot and muggy for us...and we don't like it.
It's 85 and that's hot for my hometown.
ReplyDeleteWe've had great weather here in central Arkansas. We haven't hit 100 yet & that's a minor miracle. Also plenty of rain.
ReplyDeleteI live in Michigan, so the weather changes daily! So far, it's been a pretty cool summer. Thanks for showing us all the things you can do with CTMH cartridges! Cool layout!
