[Video]How to Make Rosette Christmas Trees - Close to My Heart Holiday Gift Guide cover

I have had many requests to make a video on how to make these trees from the cover of the new Close to My Heart Holiday Gift Guide and here it is!

I chose to make the tree on the left and today, I will show you the basics of making a rosette tree.

You can see how to embellish the tree HERE - it includes a video!

First step is to cut out the rosette sections from the Close to My Heart Artiste Cartridge (you can get that HERE):

Below, I have the various sized rosettes/yoyos, with the appropriate papers, that I cut out and how many of each size I used.
I used the new Close to My Heart Sparkle and Shine Paper Pack (available HERE)
Want to see how to make this tree?  Check out the video below (click HERE if you can't see the video):

  29. Thanks Joy for another wonderful video. I have a question. I noticed you said to adhere flat to flat. I have seen others do it mountain and a valley together. Do you find going flat to flat works better? Just curious. Can't wait to tune in tomorrow for the decorations.

  32. I like the catalog but wish there were more Christmas papers! I LOVE CTMH papers! but I will play with the Sparkle and Shine papers as I'm sure they're even more pretty in person! Thank you so much for the video. It is clear and concise and makes me want to make the tree. A lady on an earlier comment saying to do one in Halloween papers gave me the idea to also make one with Fall papers (like Huntington!). And maybe making a set of smaller trees would be awesome too! Thanks so much!
