I used the CTMH Artbooking cartridge - it's fun that this cartridge can be used for so much more than just layouts.
Here I used two cuts for the focal point of the card - below are the sizes.
Now, a word about the sizing - those are correct! Those are NOT REAL DIAL sizes. Because they are both layered images, they need to be cut in relative sizing (which is the Cricut default).

Love this fall card! Can't wait to try it! There is so much to be thankful for! I like to carry a special dessert to potlucks. It is called "Scrumptious" and has a nutty cookie base, and layers of chocolate pudding; cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cool whip; and it's topped with mounds of cool whip and chocolate shavings.

ReplyDeleteMy go to dish is a mac and cheese. (my mom developed this recipe) All the mac and cheese lovers on both sides of our family love it. So I always have to bring it. Very easy. No white sauce involved.

What a lovely, elegant card...I may have to lift this one....I am always tasked to bring a potato dish for our family meal, and my mom always requests the Emeril's Baked Mashed potatoes...love baking 10 pounds of spuds, hulling the innards, adding sour cream, a pound of bacon, lots of shredded cheese and butter and seasonings to taste...throw in large crock pot and heat through....there is never any left overs....bummer for me!

I love pot luck dinners! My favorite to take is a baked bean casserole with lots of bacon, peppers, onions, bbq sauce, a little mustard and brown sugar, slowly baked. Yummy!

ReplyDeleteAs for potlucks...we go to one once a month at a friend's house where we also play Texas Hold 'Em poker. One of my favorite things to make is Cherry Dump Cake. http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2008/04/dump-cake-a-potluckers-paradise/ except I sprinkle 1/2 cup of sugar on top of the cake mix before putting the butter on. It smells like heaven and takes so so good, especially with a dollop of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream on top. YUMMO. But beware....this is NOT low carb! Everybody loves it
Green Bean Casserole is my go to potluck meal during the holiday season. Outside of the holiday season I always take a pasta salad full of home-grown veggies!

My favorite casserole to bring to a party (and always requested) is a casserole named after my niece because she originally brought it to a family get together. It consists of chicken, onion, water chestnuts, celery, rice, herb suffing mix, mushroom soup, mayo, and sour cream. Yummy, yummy.
