Today's A2 sized card comes from the super cute Creative Holiday Cards Cricut cartridge!
Check out the Creative Holiday Cards Cricut cartridge below:
To find out more about this cartridge, head over HERE.
I love how quickly this card came together - you'll see below in the video!
For starters, this cartridge uses the universal overlay shown below:
As you can see in the handbook below, each card has the keys listed below it that you will need to press. Those keys correspond to the universal overlay shown above:
So, for our tree card, we use key 21 to cut the card. Then, press the "F1" key then key 21 to get the inside layer. In the red oval, we are told what size to cut these at. The envelope is key 22 and cut at 5-1/2" - it matches all the cards on this page.
I chose to cut the tree layer pieces smaller (5-1/4") so I could add some more layering to the front of the card. To get the tree layer, I pressed key 29. Then to get the backing to the tree (green layer), I pressed F1 then key 29. Finally, the star was cut by pressing key 30.
Making sense?
The envelope below is also cut at 5-1/2" - the cartridge adjusts to be the correct size for the card.
I used the Close to My Heart "A Holiday" stamp set to stamp the "Merry Christmas" on the front and this garland on the inside of the card.
Here's a look at the Close to My Heart A Holiday stamp set (so cute for just $6.95-see HERE for more details). This stamp set coordinates with the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge also!
