ReplyDeleteI love using kits on mini albums!
ReplyDeleteI don't really use kits. I did have a card kit once that I won and made the cards, but didn't have an occasion to give them away. I prefer to "do my own thing" with all the supplies I already have. I do love reading about new products and techniques though.
ReplyDeleteI like to use kits for cardmaking and then I add a few special elements from my stash. Saves a lot of time.
ReplyDeleteI've never used a kit. I probably should. Hope you are having a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI have never used a kit with instructions, but it seems like it would be a quick and easy way to do a layout.

ReplyDeleteI just love all the stamps and projects. Would love to win. You are so creative.
ReplyDeleteI do like that scrapbook kits come with instructions, but it's also nice just to have detailed pictures, because sometimes cutting/measuring takes more time to complete than actually looking at an example.
ReplyDeleteI need instructions even though I don't always follow them. A picture helps but I like having the proportions already figured out. Would love the card cartridge.

I love it when you put all the details of creating a card or spreadsheet. It helps me learn just how to use the cutter and gives me ideas of a project to create. Thank you so much for doing this for us all! Blessings, Bev
ReplyDeleteI do like the scrapbooking kits as I find after I follow the directions the first time, it gives me more ideas to continue on my own.

I do like the kits when I need a little help with inspiration. Not all kits are good ones though. The good ones are time savers, and they help when learning a new product or line. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI NEED instruction!! I'm new to the Cricut/scrapbooking world, so yea, it's MUCH better for me to have instructions(at least until I catch on lol)... Winning this cartridge would be sooo great for me, I think it would give me that EXTRA PUSH in the right direction of CRAFTING!! I'm sooo Syked up about your contest and I hope you PICK ME! I NEEEED instruction!!!!
ReplyDeleteP.P.S, I am soooo loving your site here!! WOW!!
I do like kits because all the stuff coordinates but I dont normally follow the instructions.
ReplyDeleteLove the card. I really like the way you give all the directions on your project.
ReplyDeleteGreat give-a-way this week. I would love to win this cart. I have this one on my wish list.
Since I am definitely more of a card maker than a scrapbooker, I do find most kits helpful. I have to admit that I often put my own spin on things even when using a kit
ReplyDeleteI do definitely like scrapbook kits/card kits with instructions. I sometimes lack inspiration but doing a scrapbook page/card from a kit gives me ideas and then I add my own touches to make it slightly different from the instructions. The kits not only give inspiration, they save time and money because all the main elements are there and all ready to go!
ReplyDeleteHi Joy,
ReplyDeleteYour question is if i like cardmaking kits with instructions? Yes, makes it easier and faster to create for last minute / saves time when you are in a hurry. It also gives me a head start /i can add my special touch..

That's a great deal on the artbooking cartridge and stamps to accompany it. I wish I had the money to get it, but I don't. I'll have to put it on my wish list for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI can watch your videos ALL day long...always some little tip or technique to learn! As far as instructional kits, I hate following written instructions ....LOVE sketches which I can interpret in my own way.

I have never bought a kit but I think that I would like to have instructions with kits. It would help to get ideas going.
ReplyDeleteLove the Boo card. I have never used a premade card or scrapbook kit.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do love kits with instructions!!!! They are such a time saver because it takes me a long time to design pages and cards on my own. Guess I'm a little indecisive when it comes to making decisions. :) But I do like to start from scratch on special projects though. The Simple Holiday Cards cartridge would be a big time saver for me.
ReplyDeleteVery nice card I love your videos. Thanks for sharing. I do live kits when I have limited time to scrap.
ReplyDeleteLuria
Hi Joy! Great question today...I have only done one kit so maybe I shouldn't judge on that, but I found I changed the papers and all out for my own anyway so I really didn't get much out of it. I would probably try again with another though. You have spoiled us with your projects and clear instructions...maybe that's why!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeth Anne in PA
