Then inspiration struck!
I recently saw a fast technique to make this black and white paper into a different color and I was determined to try it (see black and white papers below):
Along the way, I wondered how the card would look in yellow and decided to do one of those at the same time.
I used the flower cut from the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge. See sizing below:I used the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge (see below):
I also used the Close to My Heart Card Chatter- Birthday stamp set (D1475) for the sentiment on these cards....
and this fun Close to My Heart For Always Paper Pack (X7165B) for the paper. I altered the color of the background paper by using Close to My Heart Lagoon and Honey inks and daubers. You can see on the video below how I did this.

ReplyDeleteWell this is not going to be an easy choice. I like both cards very much, but on a personal level I am drawn to the yellow card. It has such a happy and bright feel to it. Now, as a card maker myself, I would probably do both and gear my choice as to who I am sending it to or making it for, depending on their preference. Coloring the black & white is an inspiration to me at this point...love to chalk in colors.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun day!
