You thought you had one but then they are all gone...
This fast and fabulous gift bag from the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut cartridge can solve your problem!
I made this bag for my Mom's birthday - she loved it!
You can see how to make the bag in the video below (scroll down).
Here is the sizing:
Cut the border above in black and teal.
Cut the border above in white. Cut the tag at 4" in white and 4-1/4" in teal (black would have been good also).
These circles above go behind the doily (cut in teal) below.
Here's a close-up:
I used the Close to My Heart Fabulous You stamp set below for the tag portion:
And the paper was from the Close to My Heart For Always Paper Pack:And I stamped the tissue paper with CTMH Lagoon ink and the Close to My Heart In the Moment stamp set shown below:
And of course, I used the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut Bundle shown below:
To see how to make this doily bag, watch the video below (click HERE if you can't see the video):
I had a request to post the infographic from yesterday's sizing video-see photo below:

ReplyDeleteAnother great video. No I did not mind that you did not cut out each element. I think you explained everything just fine.
ReplyDeleteHi, Joy. I am really loving these mini tutorials you are posting with the new cartridge. I actually appreciate that you eliminate the cutting in each step ~ it saves time and we all know what the cutting portion looks like! Great job.

Very pretty gift bag and no I did not mind you not showing the actual cutting out.
ReplyDeleteI love the bag it turned out beautiful
ReplyDeleteI love the bag and the video was great. What a great idea about stamping the tissue paper never thought of that I am going to have to try it. Thanks for sharing are amazing ideas.
ReplyDeleteThis is just stunning, Joy! Love the colors!
ReplyDeleteI love what you are doing with that cartridge - it's on my Christmas wish list now. Look forward to seeing even more ideas
ReplyDeleteBeautiful medallion, and no, I don't mind if you don't cut out each piece...time is a commodity and I want to see it come together, but not necessarily every single cut. For those who are bothered by it though, you could maybe do that speed up the video thing, so it shows it really fast?
ReplyDeleteThis bag is soooo pretty! Thank you for all of the wonderful tips and instructions...so helpful!!
ReplyDeleteGreat bag, and I love what you did with the tissue!
ReplyDeleteJoy, you make it look so simple, even the mistakes! Wonderful gift bag and tag! Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteThe bag is fabulous and I like that you didn't show cutting all the pieces. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI'm fine with your video just the way it is. Your videos are always very informative and easy to follow. And the bag is gorgeous! Thanks for all the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful gift bag. It is always easier to precut your art work so you can fit more in the video.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win.

Georgous gift bag!!!! And it is fine not to show all of the cutting.
ReplyDeleteI missed your tweezers today! I have been shopping for a pair. :)
Neat bag - love the doily. Again have to put that Cartridge on my Christmas gift wish list. Hopefully I will get it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous bag. That doily and border are beautiful.. I see why your mother loved it!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the video. It's not necessary to show all of the cuts.
ReplyDeleteLove the doily bag! Sure, I don't mind that you don't show all of the cutting! Thanks for the chance to win the cartridge! I need to get an order in with you this month too:) Love CTMH!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm often forgettingto buy bags :D
ReplyDeleteThe bag is just beautiful. Funny what you can do now with a cricut...I for years made over all kinds of bags with whatever I had on hand.. Can't say they looked quite to pretty as yours LOL.... Your tutorials are a godsend. TY for all the tips on Artbooking. Your effort is appreciated very much.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous bag! I am getting ready to make one for my girlfriend's birthday gift(s) and BAM...here's an exquisite example for me to springboard off of. Thanks so much...I love your videos and don't mind you skipping over the "cutting" parts. Most of us are used to our cricuts by now (and can give them a run for their money) and I would assume those that are very new would ask for elaboration in your comment section. As usual, you have inspired me to go cut something! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI found your video on real dial size to be very clear. Thank you for your great tips. Love the doily bag. Jill P. Manteca CA
ReplyDeleteGreat bag and great video too! I don't mind that you didn't show the cutting on the Cricut. I do like how you are showing the booklet with the sizes you used to make the bag. That is the information I need. I think we all pretty much know what the machine looks like when it is cutting. Especially with this cartridge knowing about the cut sizes and real sizes seem to make a difference.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your blog posts!
I'm quite happy that you didn't show the cutting of each element. I enjoyed your tip about stamping on tissue paper to coordinate it with the pretty gift bag you made. TFS!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bag! I enjoyed your video and no I mind might that you didn't show the cutting process. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteVeronica

ReplyDeleteBeautiful Bag!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that you didn't cut out each shape on the video!
Great bag. What a great gift for the gift.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's necessary to go in detail on how to cut the pieces. Your emails and videos are great.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gift bag! I love that you stamped the white tissue paper to match the bag. You are very creative. Thank you for spreading the fun.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful gift bag. I really loved how beautiful the tissue paper turned out and thought that was just a super cool idea! I didn't mind that you didn't show all the cuts! I was just so excited to see the finished project and I know if I have questions, I can always email you! Thanks again for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe gift bag is beautiful, and the video is easy to follow. Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeleteNo, never lacked for bags for gifts. But glad that I don't have to worry about it now - just have to put that Cartridge on my Want for Christmas gift list.
ReplyDeleteI do not mind you did not show us each step of the cutting but I always appreciate you telling us about sizing and when you do real size, etc. Your videos are so wonderfully helpful and just plain FUN! I wish I was your neighbor!
