ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win!!!
Yay on the road trip!
ReplyDeleteI used to love road trips, but now it is so hard to sit for that long. thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI have this kit Looks like fun. Praying for the day I can get back to crafting and scrapping.
ReplyDeleteDawnRI
Resounding NAY to long car trips. It is not healthy to sit in one place for such a long time, even with short breaks.
ReplyDeleteAnn
Lovin' the cards.... depending on how long and with whom I'm traveling with.
ReplyDeleteJoy - THANK YOU so much for this chart! It is SO HELPFUL! I tried my hand at one of the cards yesterday and had nothing but trouble! My new mat was too sticky and it messed up my paper as I took it off the mat, the 2nd time I cut it I had a snag in the cut...I finally just gave up! I will try again!
ReplyDeleteI took a long car trip to South Carolina recently, and my grandkids live 13 hours away - so even though I don't LIKE them- it's kind of a necessary with the cost of air fare these days!
Thanks again for the chart!
occasional long road trips can be fun...just have to be in the right frame of mind.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this chart and swing card samples...it will help me tremendously.
ReplyDeleteNo long car trips planned for this year but next year my sister and I are driving from Texas to Maine... an antique/junking trip that is planned to take 3 days but may be more like 5 or 6.... :o)
Thank you so much for the chart! You went to a lot of trouble and it will make it much easier for us.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Car trips. Nay. cruises all the way.
ReplyDeleteSo grateful for the charts! Thanks..Waited years for the kids to be grown so I could make long road trips only to find now I'm too old to sit in a car that long. Live & learn I guess.
ReplyDeleteNay on the long road trip just haven't planned anything. Next year though yay on the long road trip. Thanks for the chance to win. Love all the wonderful tutoritals. Thanks for all you do. Terri
ReplyDeletelove the swing card ideas
ReplyDeleteLong car trips are the only way to travel these days. We made the trip from Ohio to Disney earlier this summer and plan on making at least two more trips down to Cumberland. All five of us in a car!
ReplyDeleteYay on the long road trips. I have been on many. You are fabulous for making a chart for us. I printed mine out. Thanks so much! You're the best!!
ReplyDeleteNice recap on the wonderful cards you made. Nay on the long road trips.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the info.
ReplyDeleteMostly it depends on who or what is waiting for me at the end of that long road trip...

Thanks for making the chart for us. Have to say Nay on long trips anymore.
ReplyDeletesekala45@roadrunner.com
Love long car trips - but my kids always got along, so that helps... We did 4 weeks in a Ford Van one year - Texas to North Dakota to Washington State to yellowstone and Utah back down around to Texas. It was a blast, and took a whole scrapbook to document!
ReplyDeleteLong roadtrips can be fun if you are prepared and resourceful. Our family has had its share of Successes and Fails.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the all in one instruction sheet for the swing cards! I had the Artiste cartridge and did not realize it contained swing cards. So excited to have "more" options!!! Love checking out your facebook and blog! You always spark an idea for me!
ReplyDeleteLong car trips are always fun! Love the swing card. thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteGreat info sheet! I don't mind a long road trip...sometimes we don't have the time and have to fly.
ReplyDeleteI find your recap very beneficial! Thank you so much for sharing your professional secrets!
ReplyDeleteDepending on where I am headed, I usually find long car trips fun. Well, let me put it this way....
On the way to my destination I enjoy long car rides/trips, but on the way home, I hate 'em. Like driving to and from Las Vegas.
Thanks for letting me share.

You are so kind to provide that really useful chart for the swing cards! Thank you for doing that. I love, love, love long road trips. I especially love driving through and/or stopping in little towns. But maybe that's only because I grew up in one!
ReplyDeleteIt is a yay! Not because I like them but because they have to be long as that is where the relatives are. Planes - did those many years ago. I can not handle all the crap you have to go through at the airport. I am half way to my destination before I would even set foot on the plane that is how time consuming they are.
ReplyDeleteNay..in fact...no trip at all!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the inspiration! Yay and Nay to long car trips--I don't mind them sometimes, but if the trip is more than about ten hours I prefer to fly.
ReplyDeleteHave a 16 month old so nay on the long car trips. She's not a fan of the car! :-(
ReplyDeleteLong car trips are always "nay" but you have to weigh the pros vs. cons especially when it comes to cost! Have a blast where ever you travel to!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the charts. That will be very helpful.
ReplyDeleteI prefer to drive if I have somewhere to go.
We don't travel much but I prefer seeing as much as I can along the way.
Mary O'Neal
Nay! No road trips this summer. Just going to enjoy the grandkids at the lake before we leave for the south for the winter. I'd love to win the cartridge for cards. Thanks for the chance. I enjoy your great tutorial videos and ideas.
ReplyDeleteI love road trips, and long ones don't bother me as long as we can stop along the way. I've done DC to FL a couple of times and DC to New Orleans. But it definitely depends on who your traveling companions are!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the swing card tutorials. I was afraid to try them because they look so complicated, but now I'm going to go for it!

I vote nay (I really don't like the way my husband drives). He is voting yes. So we will see if we even go any place at all.
ReplyDeleteI so very much enJOY your site. I check it daily. Thanks for the details on the swing cards with the Artiste cartridge. I know what I am making tonight!
ReplyDeleteDeborah
Thanks for the chart. However I do not have the Art Philosophy Cartridge but hope to get soon. Yes a road trip to Tybee Island the end of July.
ReplyDeleteLuria
If we can help it, we try to avoid long car trips. My kids are great travelers, but let's just say I have a small bladder. ;) (TMI, sorry!)
ReplyDeleteBut...the price is right for a car trip vs. plane!
Thanks for all the inspiration on your blog! <3
I would vote yeah!! I was told when I was in driver's ed I would be great on a long distance straight driving trip. I don't have the Artiste cartridge but it is on my wish list.
ReplyDeleteDenise
We say "Yay" to short trips due to the heat of Florida, and that is what we have been doing so that we make a round trip in one day. Fun and very affordable!
ReplyDeleteYay to road trips. We just had to take a trip from Arizona to Minnesota. Now that is a long.... road trip but if you are prepared it can be such a good experience. Much more affordable as well. I am a subscriber to your blog and newsletter and love all your examples and videos. Thanks so much for everything.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the swing cards and all the tutorials you've provided this week. I've learned a lot and actually made some of my own. This is the kind of information I'm looking for.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the cheat sheet! Looking forward to creating some swing cards soon.
ReplyDeleteOn the fence about long road trips. We are taking one in 2 1/2 weeks. The kids are teens now so it should be better than when they were toddlers.
Nay to car trips but yah to all your card ideas! Thanks,
ReplyDeleteLucille from Cheektowaga, NY
We haven't been too far away from home for vacation since I was really young. At this point it's just car trips of 10 hours or less. Bless you for such a long trip in one day! I absolutely love this cartridge!
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you for the swing card chart!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love a long road trip. Hubby isn't able to drive for long, however. I'm enjoying your blog very much!
ReplyDeleteTFS all your swing cards and charts. We make short day trips since we have 4 cats at home and find it hard to stay away too long!
ReplyDeleteI used to love long car trips but the older I get, the less they like me! Thanks for the great chart!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's yay if the drive is full of new vistas or sights or if you get plenty of breaks, but when it's 16 hours straight, it's exhausting.
ReplyDeleteHi it will be Nay for me this summer. Maybe the next summer I will be able to take a summer vacation. I hope you and the family have a great summer vacation. But if I win this great new cartridge then I could do some of the vacations
ReplyDeletefrom the past.
Have a great weekend :-)
Delama
say thank you for giving all a chance you
Thanks for the great tips on the Artiste Cartridge. It is a lot o f help knowing the cuts for the swing cards. Someone else did the work for me! My husband and I just get in the car and go sometimes not even having a destination. We have visited some interesting places just by driving around. And that's when we have our best conversations!
ReplyDeleteyay to car trips!
ReplyDeletethank you for all your wonderful tips
I woulk love to win the cartridge. I could really use it in my scrapbooking and card making. Thnaks
ReplyDeleteI leave in Texad myself...and it has been a pretty warm week. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletewell, we've done long car trips to your state! we're in Nebraska and have driven to Galveston about 4 times, I think, and San Antonio once. It can be done, but sometimes the fighting amongst kids who are bored and tired of riding can be a bit much! Thanks for the chance at winning!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME CARD! Thanks for sharing. And thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteLong car trips aren't so bad if you can stop & rest when you need to. I drive from IL to AZ every spring & every fall. Very nice trip! It is nice here in IL for the past 2 days. Now the humidity is back & temp going up. I would rather have dry AZ heat!
ReplyDeleteLove your cards & can't wait to get the new cartridge!

ReplyDeleteDenise from Petal, MS
Nay! With an 8 month old and a toddler, long car trips take twice as long. Two weeks ago, a two hour drive took 5 hours with all the stops Ugh! Would love to win the cartridge. It's perfect for scrapping for my kids!
ReplyDeleteLets see weather in Redondo Beach, California... high today predicted to be 76 and foggy. No wonder my zucchini plants have mold...
ReplyDeleteYay. Being from a large family we always camped out for vacations since it was cheaper. We loved it. Now I have to travel to visit my grandkids, so I still take road trips. Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteOvercast today but the 90's are on their way. Love the look of these swing cards. Nice change for a little effort. TFS!!
ReplyDeleteYay to the road trips. We are going to the beach this year. Love the card...Great pictures coming for scrapbooking from the beach :-)
ReplyDeleteRamona (North Carolina)
Thanks for the PDF! I will definitely use that! I would love to go on a road trip. Come on money fairy-visit me please!!! hahaha
ReplyDeleteYay to car rides! Thanks for the card examples and the pdf.
ReplyDeleteIt's 88 here today but really steamy. So glad to be inside. Thanks for the info on how to make the swing cards. I must try that.
ReplyDeleteNay for me. we used to take long trips but it's hard sitting so long now. Not getting any younger.
ReplyDeleteYAY to long car trips...the longer the better the vacation. Love the cards samples and printout.
ReplyDeleteNo vacation this year...hoping to have puppies. Have a couple of day trips planned...driving a couple of hours from home.
ReplyDeleteI am loving these swing cards!! Thanks for the chance to win THE FIRST FEW YEARS - I'd love to add it to my library of cartridges.
ReplyDeleteYour swing cards are great!! Thanks for a chance at winning a new cartridge!
ReplyDeleteYour cards have been fabulous, such a fun spin to create the swing cards. I will have to say "nay" to the long trips, they are just too hard for me with my back injury. This is very unfortunate since that means no trips. :(
ReplyDeleteI say nay because we have a small SUV and two little kids!
ReplyDeleteLove your swing cards. Pretty much I can handle long car trips but we do not do that often.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the swing cards. You inspired me to make a couple of my own and I'll be making a lot more!
ReplyDeleteI love all these swing cards you have been doing.
ReplyDeleteThis cartridge prize this week would be perfect for all the scrap pages I am doing about my granddaughter!
I so need to change up my card making and this cartridge would be such a help! Love how yours is so pretty, too!
