I cut the leaf from the Sophie Cricut cartridge at 4-1/2" and inked around the edges. Then, I applied to it a sheet of kraft paper I had already run through the Cuttlebug using a leaf patterned embossing folder.
If you don't have the Sophie cartridge, there are many other cartridges with leaves on them.
The news is that Hello Thursday is today and we should be able to show projects with the new cartridges soon so keep checking back. There are some fun ones!

Sunshine with moderate temperatures (and no bugs) makes enjoying outdoors fun. And don't forget all the harvesting of garden crops and comfort foods made with squash, pumpkin, turnip, etc etc.

One activity my family always does in the fall is to go to the pumpkin display at the UT Education and Research Center here wher I live and do family pictures. There are always numerous pumpkins and goards in all sorts of shapes and colors and the display is always breathtakeing.

I love the wonderful color palate with the changing leaves, the beautiful puffy white clouds, the autumn harvest...and the list goes on and on. A beautiful time of the year!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bag...Favorite Christmas song has to be Silent Night second favorite is Grandma got run over by a reindeer. My grandma would always tease us that is why we always had to have Christmas at her house so she wouldn't get run over.
ReplyDeleteI love the bags!! My favorite thing about the autumn season is the crisp smell in the air and snuggling up with my little man in my good old sweats and frumpy t-shirt! Leaving Las Vegas in 3 weeks back to Ohio so I will make it just in time!!

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the cooler evenings. It is a chance to open the windows and enjoy a quiet, relaxing sit outside while not covered in bug spray. lol Some of the trees are starting to change and that signals that fall is definitely around the corner.
