My favorite Thanksgiving side dish was anything my momma cooked before she passed.
Thanksgiving was her moment in the spotlight. It was the day she loved the most. She loved having all of her kids together at the same table at the same time. {8 of us). And there was always room for us to bring someone along.
    Miss you momma.
Now my favorite is sweet potatoes and brown sugar with toasted marshmallows melted on top.

  56. I make thawed hash browns (cubed), sour cream, can of cream of mushroom soup, 2 cups (I use another one also, but recipe only calls for 2 cups) of shredded cheddar cheese.. *(I use X~sharp) mix that all together, put in a baking dish. (I use a 13x9)... then that's when I sprinkle the other cheddar cheese... on top of all of that.. then I smoosh up potato chips.. (the actual recipe calls for corn flakes but I like the salty crunchy chips..) then I take a stick of butter, melt it, and then drizzle it over the top, but making sure I don't completely cover the crunchy chips, *the recipe calls for you to mix it in with the other stuff, but I never follow directions, as you might be able to tell... lol) L.r.
