I cut the leaf from the Sophie Cricut cartridge at 4-1/2" and inked around the edges. Then, I applied to it a sheet of kraft paper I had already run through the Cuttlebug using a leaf patterned embossing folder.
If you don't have the Sophie cartridge, there are many other cartridges with leaves on them.
The news is that Hello Thursday is today and we should be able to show projects with the new cartridges soon so keep checking back. There are some fun ones!

The fall is probably my most favorite time of the year! I love the change of colors, when the leaves start falling, and when the weather changes enough to warrant a light jacket! It's so refreshing :)

My very favorite smell in the world is a campfire and in fall everyone seems to burn their leaves and make more campfires. That is my favorite part of fall, but fall is my favorite season with all the wonderful colors. I live in Wisconsin so we get all those wonderful colors up here.

I love everything about fall. Colors, smells, the cooler weather. It is, by far, my favorite season. If I had to pick an absolute favorite thing it would be the late october feeling when everyone is getting ready for Halloween. There's such anticipation in the air!
There is nothing better than the smells and the cool night air in autumn. Spiced pumpkins and warm apple cider. Crunchy leaves and colorful mums. Then when it gets even colder in these parts, the smell of a wood stove. It smells like home to me!

Fall is the time for cool weather, new beginnings, fresh veggies and the promise of family gatherings. It's the absolute best time of the year!!!
Fall is my absolute favourite time of year. I love the colours and smells and sound of crunchy leaves walking through the woods. Fall colours are warm colours and make me feel good. Sunshine with moderate temperatures (and no bugs) makes enjoying outdoors fun. And don't forget all the harvesting of garden crops and comfort foods made with squash, pumpkin, turnip, etc etc.

I needed an idea for a manly gift bag for an event this weekend and this is perfect. One activity my family always does in the fall is to go to the pumpkin display at the UT Education and Research Center here wher I live and do family pictures. There are always numerous pumpkins and goards in all sorts of shapes and colors and the display is always breathtakeing.

My favorite thing about the autumn season is that the kids don't get as yucky and sweaty when they play during recess and then have to come back into my classroom! Haha.
