Wondering how to store all your Cuttlebug folders??

I was so excited when I realized that the Close to My Heart large organizer could hold large and small embossing folders and dies. It can also hold up to 40 stamp sets.

Before this, my embossing folders and dies were sitting out, in some disarray.  The problem was that the 5" x 7" embossing folders didn't fit in any containers I could find - they were too tall.  So, once I discovered that they would fit in this Close to My Heart large organizer, I was thrilled!
Of course, no container should go unadorned so I had to put some vinyl on it (see video below for more details).
Above you can see the folders and then my ring of tags.  Those tags are each embossed and numbered to match up to my folders.  That way I can quickly decide which folder I want to use. I can even hold it up to the project.
Then, one of my readers Dotty E., pointed out how helpful those Close to My Heart 6"x6" envelopes shown above would be to store your dies in.  What a great idea!  Then those envelopes fit perfectly in the organizer also!  WOO HOO!
Below are the products I used:
These are the Close to My Heart envelopes used to store the dies.

These Close to My Heart tabbed dividers can also be used to further organize your folders and dies.
I used the Close to My Heart Artiste Cricut Cartridge to make the "embossing folder" vinyl.

Art Deco Cricut Father's Day Card

I always think masculine cards are so difficult to design. So, when I was looking at the  Cricut Art Deco cartridge, I found this car and was thrilled.  There are so many fantastic masculine images on this cartridge. I knew I was cutting this as soon as I saw it.

Plus, loving the Art Deco font on this cartridge which the "DAD" was cut from. I grew up in Miami and we had a whole Art Deco area on Miami Beach.  And who could forget Crockett and Tubbs?

The Art Deco 5x7 Cuttlebug folder was used for the background.
As you can see above, the car and "dad" were pop dotted off the front of the card.

The car is cut at 3-1/4" and the "Dad" is cut at just around 1" and the files for the Gypsy and the Cricut Craft Room are below.

200+ Ways to use the Cuttlebug as well as a Special Deal!

Today, on cricut.com, they are having a special on the Cuttlebug shown above and below:

To order, head over to the Cuttlebug Green Wednesday Special.

I find the Cuttlebug to be one of the most versatile, fun tools you can own.  Between the fact that you can cut all kinds of dies in it and emboss using the over 100+ folders now available, it packs quite a crafting punch.

Now, here are over 200 ways to use the Cuttlebug as compiled by the most fabulously, talented, creative blogger Mel Stampz.  Check out her list of 200+ Ways to use the Cuttlebug!  It's an unbelieveably vast list of loads of creative techniques that many artists have developed for use with the Cuttlebug.  I learned so much reading the list and can't wait to try out some of the techniques.
