[Video]Christmas in July Ho Ho Ho Card

It's Christimas in July!

I wanted to feature one of my favorite Christmas cards I have ever made using the Close to My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge Bundle  This cartridge is retiring soon as is the stamp set!

And then I remembered a card I seen on Pinterest that had a beard and Santa suit and figured that would be a perfect topper to the "Ho Ho Ho" card.
This card measures 4-1/4"x 5-1/2" and was super fast to put together (see video farther down on how to do that).

Here are the cuts I used from the Close to My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge Bundle (retiring soon):

Notice the card and envelope sizing above for the different machines!

And from the Cricut Craft Room Basics (although there are many cartridges with a similar shape):
Here's another view:

Artistry Cricut Joy Christmas Card

Good morning sweet friends!

It's another "joy" Christmas card today! The best thing about being named "Joy" is there are always a lot of items with my name on it at this time of year. LOL! Including today's card...

I made this card using the new Close to My Heart Artistry Cricut cartridge. It has some really great banners on it and I decided to slice the word "joy" into one of the banners to make a holiday card.

I have included the Design Space file below and a video on how to slice which is short and clear!

The cuts are all from the Artistry cartridge and are sized as follows:
The card is 5" x 5".
The wreath is 4-1/2".
The banner is 4".

I love how the red enamel gems brighten up the holly wreath - I think they totally make the card!

The new Artistry Cricut Cartridge Bundle is now available from Close to My Heart

Something new this year is that they are offering the cartridge in 2 forms:
-The digital form is $79 (purchase HERE) and comes with a digital code in the mail that works with Cricut Craft Room and Design Space. No actual cartridge and booklet is sent.
-The regular cartridge and booklet form is $99.

Both forms come with the 3 stamp sets and a pack of new yummy cardstock colors!

Artbooking Cricut Joy Christmas Card

This 4" x 4" "Joy" card was made using the Artbooking Cricut cartridge, pop dots and a few gems! WHOOP! Super easy!

The different thing I did with the card was to cut out the "joy" from the red piece and then pop it up using pop dots. I glued the inner piece of the "o" and the "y"s to the cream piece.

When that red piece is popped up, the whole card takes on a new look and dimension. It just feels better - more substantial and elegant!

The "joy" was cut from the Artbooking Cricut cartridge at 2-3/4".

Artbooking Cricut Noel Cards - You pick which you like!

Today's Christmas cards use the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut cartridge for the background overlays pieces, as well as the font.

I started off planning to just make the teal and pink card but quickly decided it would be fun to do both kinds (traditional and modern/funky) and see what you guys thought!
Using the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut cartridge, I cut the images above.  The font was used in the red/green card.  What's nice about this size of card (4" x 8") is that they fit into a business sized envelope.
For the teal/pink card, I used the font from the Close to My Heart Artiste cartridge (click HERE to buy).  I liked its blocky, modern feel (sizing above).  You probably don't need to use real dial size with the Artiste cartridge but for consistency, I did.  No harm, no foul.
Using the geometic rings Cuttlebug folder, I embossed the background circles on the red/green card.
I have a glittering technique shown in the video below so be sure to check it out!

See the video below on how to make these cards (click HERE if you can't see the video):

Easy Glittery Artistry Cricut Christmas Card

This fast elegant Christmas card is so easy to make using the new Close to My Heart Artistry Cricut cartridge!

This card is 4-1/2" square and covered with some fun red glitter paper. I used glue dots to adhere the cream colored piece (cut at 4"x4") because sometimes it's hard to stick things to glitter paper.

Finally, I cut this Christmas word art from the Close to My Heart Artistry Cricut cartridge at 3-3/4". I used liquid glue to adhere it.

DONE!

Cricut Christmas Stocking Winter Frolics QUICK Card

It's Throwback Thursday!

I cut this super cute stocking at 5" from the Cricut Winter Frolics Cartridge.  My card was sized at 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" and opens at the bottom, although you could have it open to the side.
I used various glittery papers from Reminisce and DCWV.  My background was run through the Cuttlebug with the Sparkle embossing folder.

Card Recipe:
1) Fold red cardstock 4-1/4" x 11" paper in half to form 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card.
2) Adhere piece of 4" x 5-1/4" white cardstock to inside.
3) Run piece of 4" x 5-1/4" white cardstock through Cuttlebug with embossing folder.  Adhere to front of card.
4) Cut stocking from Cricut Winter Frolics Cartridge at 5", all layers using glittery papers and adhere to front of card.
5) Stamp "Do Not Open" onto white cardstock.  Trim and mount onto green paper.  Adhere to front.
6) Attach red bow to stocking.
