[Video]How to Make a Heart Pop Up Card using Artfully Sent

Check out the front of this card below:
I couldn't wait to make this heart pop up card from the Close to My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge- it's so elegant and would be great for not only Valentine's Day, but also for a wedding, anniversary or just a love note!
I made a video below showing how to make this card, including how to fold the inside of the pop up part.  Sometimes it helps to see someone actually fold these types of cards.

Below are the cuts I used, with sizing and the code number for the Cricut Explore Design Space program.

Here is the Cricut Design Space file for this also - CLICK HERE!

I used these products to make the card:

Forever in My Heart:
January 2015 Stamp of the Month (just $5 with a $50+ purchase):
Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Bundle:

Heartstrings Paper Pack:
Check out the video below on how to make this card (click HERE if you can't see the video):

When you spend $50+, you can pick up the

January stamp of the month, shown above, for just $5!

  6. Ok, my comment is not showing up - not sure if you have it set for delay - but I was thanking you for your hints and encouragement to try pop up cards! Said it much differently, and sorry if you get a second comment but I usually thought the comments showed up right away! Thanks Joy!

  9. I've made a few pop-up cards in my time and love the ones in Artfully Sent. I'm so glad you did the front of the card - always a challenge for me to get the front to coordinate with the pop-up. Thanks, Joy.

  13. Ok, I've got the inside made & will give the front a try. The heart cutout is so pretty & cut easily. Scoring was not difficult at all.I also like the rippled edge of the card base.

  17. I have tried to make pop-up cards in the past, but I've not been very successful. The pop-up section always seems to be askew or is so thick that the card can't close. Your design looks like it might work well, and besides that, it's pretty!

I think I've made one pop-up card (but I had to make it twice to get it right, so does that count as two???)

  26. Wow is this pop up card amazing! Love the heart inside. I myself haven't made a pop up card since I was a little girl when I fashioned a funny pop up from flimsy construction paper that kind of just flopped over. I was so proud of it and my Mom kept it all these years!
