Today's Christmas card is all about the glitter! I love glitter paper and Christmas cards just lend themselves to glitter, don't they? LOL!
This 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card was created entirely using the Close to My Heart Artiste Cartridge and cut out in a snap. Another easily replicated card!
Here are the cuts I used:
The cut above was welded to make the card using the Cricut Craft Room (Don't know how to weld in the Cricut Craft Room? Check out this video).
If you didn't want to do that, you could use a scallop punch along the edges OR just cut this piece and mount it on the card front.
And of course, I used the Close to My Heart Artiste Cartridge (click HERE for more info):

ReplyDeletehere - sunny but shivering cold.
Yep it has snowed here in MI in our area just a light dusting but it is so pretty but yep it's in the mid 30's!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance for that cutie patootie stamp set. Love your card it's so gorgeous and oh yes I love to glitter anything and love that cool glitter paper too.
No snow, or chance of it here in South Texas, but I did have to bring out my big coat (from living in another state) for the cold winds! Good weather to be thinking about your Christmas card, though!
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous! Love the glitter.
ReplyDeleteNo chance of snow here in San Diego. Since I grew up on the East Coast, sometimes I miss snow -- but not shoveling it!

Pretty Christmas card w/ sparkle. Here in Plano, near Dallas, temps in 30s. I do not like the wind that makes it feel so much colder. Had heard yesterday that CTMH new cartridge Gypsy update was available but when I went to update my Gypsy it indicated I had the latest update and the new CTMH cartridge is still not available on Gypsy and the Anna Griffin new cartridges are not avail on Gypsy either. Bummer. Why does ProvoCraft do this?

We never get snow where I live (southwest Florida) and that is exactly why I live here. No more shoveling and scraping, skidding and sliding for me.
ReplyDeleteLove this card but I'll have to sneak the video in later ;o) It hasn't snowed in southeast Kansas but it's supposed to tomorrow. Yikes! Our family Thanksgiving is supposed to be Sunday!
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't snowed in Arlington, VA yet, and I hope it doesn't anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteLove this card! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the chance to win. No snow here. Just ice!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty,Joy! Thank you for the glue dot tip; I always hesitate to use glitter paper because it's so hard to stick things to hit. I will use glue dots, now! BethAnn M
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your beautiful card! No snow here, but it is getting pretty cold.
ReplyDeleteLove your beautiful glittery card, thanks for sharing! It's bitter cold here, had a little sleet early yesterday morning, but no snow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card! It's cold here in Nebraska and there's a light dusting of snow on the ground from a few days ago. However the forecast is calling for 2-4 inches of snow starting tonight and continuing Saturday. Boo!
ReplyDeleteNo snow here in Southern California! The temperature is still in the 70s.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Love the sparkle. We've definitely had snow here in Minnesota with more on the way this weekend. I guess it will be around until sometime next March or April. It's pretty...for the first 10 minutes...and then it's just cold, icy and in need of shoveling. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteI live in N.E. Ohio and it took me 3-1/2 hours to drive home 12 miles from work last night. We got about 13 inches of snow at my house. Yikes! Love your glittery card!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card - no snow yet!!!
ReplyDeleteJust flurries in Anderson SCthe other weekend. Love the snow. Love the card. Thanks for the chance to win. Love your ideas. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYep! woke us to a dusting of snow...
ReplyDeleteVery nice card.
No snow yet, but it's 30 degrees near Atlanta. Love how easy, but beautiful, your Peace card is. Glue dots ARE helpful in attaching glitter to glitter.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Joy!
ReplyDeleteWe have had flakes floating around and just a dusting on the ground, but hear tomorrow we may get a couple of inches.
It's snowing now and has been off and on all day. Think we have about 3 inches so far. I'm in northwest Iowa. Love the card as usual and would love to win the stamp set. If I don't win it, can I buy it?

There have been flakes in the air - but not sticking, here in Metro Detroit.

It looks like a snow globe outside today, but luckily it did not stick to the pavement. So we got the beauty without the hazard. I just love this card! You inspire as usual!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic card! Love that glitter background! No snow here...ever! Snow is always so pretty but I would hate to drive in it!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to try to recreate this card! Yes we have had a few very light snow falls!
ReplyDeleteYes we have snow. I love it!!! But it's windy, windy, windy!!! We even had our first school closing/snow day of the year. Great card by the way! :)
