I cut the cut at 3-1/2" and the "best dad ever" at 4". Bag was from Target.
All ready for Father's Day for my husband...except for the gift (whoops!). It may be a hard holiday as my dad passed last fall.

It's going to be a busy summer! Getting my daughter ready for college, a week vacation, a weekend trip, kids working...

It will be hard being the first Father's Day without your dad but how about bringing out your album all about him with the piece your hubby wrote about your dad and set aside a bit of the day to just celebrate him as the great man and father he was.....and those cherished thoughts will make the day a bit more happy for you!!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about a hard Father's Day. My dad passed away 4 years ago the day before Father's Day so it always makes it a hard day for me. Hang in there. Remember all the fun times you had with your dad, that's what I try to do. I loved your gift bag! Might have to do one of those for my husband. As for summer plans, we are going to visit my brother and his family in northern CA next month and I can't wait. Have a great weekend.

Planning day trips to explore local places of interest with our son's family and 10 grand children. There are so many interesting places near by that we haven't even begun to explore!

ReplyDeleteCleaning out the basement and garage are our plans for the summer for being productive. Fun plans are visiting with our children and grandchildren, many nights on our deck with pets and something cool to drink. A trip to North Caroline by car to see husband sister in the mountains. Going to make some awesome pages, even of the basement cleanout (reminder not to let that happen again!) Enjoy your summer, however you spend it.
