Art Deco Cricut Father's Day Card

I always think masculine cards are so difficult to design. So, when I was looking at the  Cricut Art Deco cartridge, I found this car and was thrilled.  There are so many fantastic masculine images on this cartridge. I knew I was cutting this as soon as I saw it.

Plus, loving the Art Deco font on this cartridge which the "DAD" was cut from. I grew up in Miami and we had a whole Art Deco area on Miami Beach.  And who could forget Crockett and Tubbs?

The Art Deco 5x7 Cuttlebug folder was used for the background.
As you can see above, the car and "dad" were pop dotted off the front of the card.

The car is cut at 3-1/4" and the "Dad" is cut at just around 1" and the files for the Gypsy and the Cricut Craft Room are below.

  18. I love that card! So great and the font is awesome. Sadly, my dad has passed. I miss him so much. I'll make a big deal for my husband who has two children from his first marriage. And I always get him something from our child, the cat! Have a great rest of the week.
