For Easter dinner I'm making a pork tenderloin roast using a recipe from RedBook magazine. Recipe uses Poppy Seed and when I went to Kroger there were only 2 brands: Spice Isalnds in a jar that was expensive even on sale and Kroger brand in a canister for much less than the SI. I bought the Kroger brand.

Our dinner this year will be the traditional ham, but with it we are having sweet potato casserole, roasted brussel sprouts, salad, and hot buttered rolls. Nothing extravagant, but filling and blessed. Hope you find inspiration. Thanks for another wonderful givaway. Denise
ReplyDeleteThanks for the coupons. For Easter dinner I am planning on having a ham and a smoked roast. Have not decided what side dishes I will have.
ReplyDeleteWe always have a traditional Easter Dinner.....spiral ham, scalloped potatoes, brussel sprouts, asparagus, fresh baked biscuits, and apple pie a la mode for dessert. I always cook for my Mom, as she used to do for me....she is enjoying her 91st year! Thanks for the chance to win!

Thanks for the coupons, love receiving them! We usually have the tradition Easter Dinner, this year however it is my daughter and SIL's first Easter as a married couple and it's their turn...LOL...I will only be taking myself. Yay me! I did see some really cute yeast rolls made in the shape of bunnies that I thought was really cool...Otherwise, I think I'm really gonna like this married thing!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun cartridge! I don't know what we are having for dinner...my daughter just had a C-section and my son-in-law is planning it all! I think a potluck so it should be good. You can't beat a nice beef tenderloin or spiral cut ham.
ReplyDeleteI think we are having ham and then the typical side dishes of potatoes, carrots, rolls and salads.
ReplyDeleteWe are having a spiral ham. I will make homemade potato salad and deviled eggs. This year we are doing Easter at home just the three of us, my hubby, my son and I.
ReplyDeleteham and deviled eggs are a must every Easter in our home. I am thinking a carrot cake for dessert would be yummy too.
ReplyDeleteI have not decided on a menu yet but it is usually ham. The granddaughters have gluten allergies, so I must choose most dishes carefully.
ReplyDeleteWe're having leftovers for Easter dinner. We are having a brisket dinner for about 20 people on Saturday. We will cook the brisket and the people coming will bring potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, cornbread muffins and desert. It's on Saturday, instead of Easter, so those who live in our park in TX can be with their families on Easter. We live in MI and spend winters in TX. We don't go back north until May. So we will have the big dinner on Saturday and have one other couple over and eat the leftovers for Easter.
ReplyDeleteWe are going out to dinner this year to our FAV Restaurant for dinner it's Roses of Canton, MI it has awesome food.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the coupons and congrats to Kathy!!!
Great give away!! Hope you are having an awesome Sunday.
If my son can make it home for the day from college, it will probably be ham and scalloped potatoes for the 4 of us
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the coupons. We will have the obligatory ham for Easter, but I'm trying to think of some different side dishes to add some interest. I need to make my decisions on those SOON, so I can get the necessary grocery items, etc. I also want to make a different dessert this year. What am I doing sitting here looking at blogs? I need to get to work!! LOL
ReplyDeleteStepping outside the norm this year. My husband is going to smoke a couple of briskets for about 35 of us. The rest of the gang will bring most of the sides. Happy Easter everyone🐇🌷🐣
ReplyDeleteHoney baked ham from the Honey Baked Ham Store and luckily my in laws do Easter dinner so I get the holiday off!
ReplyDeletewe are having ham, sweet potatoes and green bean casserole. I would love to win this cartridge since I have one new great grand daughter and another due to come into this world in August. Would make for a great help with scrapbooking their first years.
ReplyDeleteIt's just the two of us this year, so we'll probably do a turkey breast in the crock pot. I have a recipe that makes the most delicious gravy--and the turkey doesn't dry out! And then we try to keep the side dishes kind of light, but they're really just a scaled-down version of Thanksgiving--sweet potato casserole, brussels sprouts with prosciutto and since there will be only two of us, that's probably it. Happy Easter!!!
ReplyDeleteThere will be 18 family members at the Easter table this year. The women have decided that the meats will be ham, lamb and chicken cutlets. Everyone has been assigned a dish to pass and the women will make the pies and cookies. There will be plenty for all (and a few extras if you want to join us) on Easter Sunday. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWe are having ham, scalloped potatoes, some type of vegetable (have not decided yet), rolls and pie for dessert. Plus I'm making some little Easter treat boxes up for all the guests.
ReplyDeleteLeslie
Going to try a Virginia Baked Home (a recipe from the Barefoot Contessa Ina Garten), mashed potatoes gravy, corn casserole and of course green bean casserole (I make mine cheesy). My daughter is making an Oreo Cheesecake for dessert.
ReplyDeleteIt's a potluck with my family every year. We BBQ at a local park and everyone just pitches in and brings some sort of side dish, dessert, or appetizer. It is always a great day with family.
ReplyDeleteSorry no help with the menu here. We'll probably go out to dinner.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the coupons.
Congrats to Kathy.
Crafty hugs,
D~

I'm not really sure what we are having for Easter dinner. I think our theme will be simple. I LOVE spending the day in the kitchen cooking for the holidays but I think this year we're going to take a break from all the work. Thanks for always providing such great inspiration!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the coupons, Joy. I haven't decided if I'll cook a big Easter dinner this year, but usually I have ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and whatever else sounds good at the time. As with Thanksgiving and Christmas, I use it as an excuse to overeat!
The First Few Years cartridge would be perfect for my annual scrapbooks of 6 grandchildren: ages 6, 2 4 yr olds. 3 3 yr olds and one 8 mo old. The grandchildren LOVE to look at their scrapbooks made by me - grandma!! And this cartridge would be perfect for my album projects for my loving grandchildren. Thanks for the consideration.

ReplyDeleteWe will be getting back the night before Easter from Aruba (there now as I type this), so no Easter dinner at my house. Would love to win the First Years cartridge as I'm getting ready to do our grandkids scrapbooks!!!!
ReplyDeleteTurkey and Ham and all the fixings. Not sure what that will be because everyone is bringing side dishes. We will eat lunch after an Easter Egg hunt for the "greats". Great grand kids.

ReplyDeleteWe are non traditional as it's just my hubby and I, I'm making a turkey and cranberry flatbread pizza!
ReplyDeleteWe are having the traditional ham, plus scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, and other side dishes.
ReplyDeleteMy family makes a traditional Thanksgiving meal, but adds a Ham to the lineup! We have turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, carrots, and green beans. Everything except the pumpkin pie :)
