I love how the stamps match all these different shapes on the cartridges. This "thank you" caught my eye as a classic, elegant, "go to" stamp that I had to have. I found it in the Made from Scratch set, shown below.
Here are the coordinating cuts for the stamps. Each cut is shown on the stamp set with sizing and the page number in the handbook.

Beautiful card!! I am not thinking about buying another machine at this time.
ReplyDeleteYour card is fab! I love the Artiste cartridge! I'm not interested in getting the Explore. I'm happy with the 4 machines I have & I really don't want to have to learn yet another design program. Then again, I'm sure I'll watch the launch on HSN & end up wanting one. Thanks for the giveaway!

What a cute little easy card! I don't plan on getting the new machine. I am working on setting up a craft room as soon as I can get my porch enclosed. Just putting all my machines out there will be great without spending more on yet another machine. Like Diana I may watch the demos on HSN.
ReplyDeleteI would love this cartridge.
Very pretty card! At this time I don't plan on getting the explore. I may sit back and watch to see what happens with it. Right now, I love my E2. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card....yes yes yes ....can't wait to explore the new EXPLORE!!!
ReplyDeleteJoy your card so so beautiful it to me has the look of vintage. I love all the pattern papers you used and the stamp and of course the colors too. Awesome card and love your video.
ReplyDeleteLike the elegant card. I do not plan to get the new Cricut Explore. Until they can make it work with the Gypsy unconnected to the computer it falls short of what I want.

LOVE, love, love your card! Those stamps sets are so beautiful! And I love those Anna Griffin-esque papers! Not sure about the Explore yet ~ I'm not too trusting of Provocraft after soaking all my money into the Imagine and then having them dump it. I might wait and see how things go with the Explore before making the investment in it. I already have a Cameo, which does pretty much the same thing.
ReplyDeleteOOOPS forgot to answer your question oh yes I'm interested in the new Cricut Explore I will be ordering it on HSN Feb 12 I'll be placing my order at 12:01 a.m. can't wait.......I still have my original Cricut which I call my baby Cricut which I got in 2006 then in 2009 my husband bought me an Expression well I wore that one out in Nov 2013 so my sweet hubby bought me a new Expression this last Christmas and I use both of these machines and the New Cricut Explore will just add to my Cricut creativity I absolutely love, love ProvoCraft and my Cricut.
ReplyDeleteLove the card today! No, I won't be buying the Explore, but might have if I had not just gotten a Silhouette Portrait...
ReplyDeleteNo - I just received my Cameo a few days before the Explore was announced. And I still use (and love) my E2 and Gypsy and cartridges! I will be interested to see if it lives up to expectations though!
ReplyDeleteLove your card. What brand of ink did you use? I have the expression it works good. I'll be interested to see if the explore will work with an iPad. If it can cut and design using an iPad I may have to get it.
ReplyDeleteAlma
I bought my Cameo (you enabler!!) about a year ago and still learning how to use it. Although I like many of the features on the new Cricut...unfortunately, I feel Cricut rushes things out many times and there are too many bugs...then it takes time for them to get fixed. I hope this isn't the case this time...but I'll be waiting a long time to buy another machine!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Love the sparkle! My interest is piqued on the new Cricut Explorer...but can't really justify another machine. (most importantly can't afford it!) So sad.
ReplyDeleteI will not be buying the Explore. Between home and traveling for the winter, I need a machine that is not WiFi dependent. I have 3 Imagines, 1 Expression and 1 E2. When we went to Florida for the winter 2 years ago, I took my Imagine. All I had to do was take white card stock along, print my background papers and colors as needed, and I had our entire vacation scrapbooks down by the time we came home in the spring. Not everyplace from WI to FL has WiFi, so I would need the Explore to be a stand alone machine that I could use with the Gypsy or my computer for my svg's. As much as I would love to have the Explore, so I didn't have to think about paper settings and being able to have the ability to emboss or draw and cut all at once, The biggest drawback is the WiFi demand.
ReplyDeleteYour card is definitely elegant and so lovely. I especially like the mix of patterned papers that you used. I will not be purchasing the Explore. The necessary hook up to a computer is the biggest drawback for me. I love using my Gypsy and if I could use my Gypsy with the Explore, well...then, maybe.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy seeing your cards and project both in your blog and on Pinterest. Received the Artiste Bundle for Christmas and am having so much fun with it! I have been following the blogs about the new Cricut Explore and am pretty excited about it. The big question is if it will give the flexibility some of the other machines have now. My Cricut Expression is aged and used a lot, so I have to do some serious thinking about replacing it. Just need to save up.
ReplyDeleteI am considering purchasing the Cricut Explore. Have really been following the news about it. I have also been thinking about the Silhouette. I'm hoping the demonstrations coming over the next couple of weeks convinces me on the Explore.
ReplyDeleteAm I going to buy the new Cricut Explorer? Absolutely not!! I put my faith in Cricut with the 'Cricut Imagine' and now I'm stuck with a $500 Imagine that they are no longer making, supporting or producing cartridges for so I'm not going to put any more money into Cricut machines I will spend my money on CTMH cartridges and my Silhouette! Thanks for letting me vent 😔. Thank you for your great inspiration and awesome prizes!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Melitta
I am anxious to explore the new Cricut machine, lots to see and know before I make decision to buy since room is
ReplyDeletefor storage is a big concern to me. Is it larger than Expression? Will it support SVG files or do they have to go through Craft Room? I love seeing the cards. Hope Close to My Heart comes out with another bundle soon
Beautiful card. I love the patterns of the paper that you used. I'm not planning on buying the Cricut Explore. I already have 4 machines and at this time to not need another. I have the Artiste Bundle and really like it. Thanks for all your videos they are so helpful. I would love to win this cartridge!!
ReplyDeleteKathy
I don't think I will be buying the new machine. Space is an issue snd I love the machines I have now. I would love to ein this cartridge as it is one I do not have. Thanks for the videos.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of the explore. Buying images one at a time and the dependency on WiFi are real deal breakers. I will wait. I am still loving my Expressions.
ReplyDeleteI love my Expression so will stick with that. I would love to win this cartridge . I have seen you use it for so many of your cards and they are always so pretty. Have a fun day!
ReplyDeleteI am interested in the Explore, but I have learned to give new products time to be released and get any bugs fixed. So, I will wait probably a year to make sure Cricut has it just right!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, the card is awesome! Thanks for sharing a tutorial! You Rock!
ReplyDeleteLove your lovely elegant card! No, I'm not interested in the Explore. I have a new pink Expression which I love and I really don't need anything else, except maybe this cute cartridge! Thanks for you giveaways.
ReplyDeleteWow! Wonderful choice of pattern and color, Joy! This card is beautiful! For now, I'll be passing on the Explore. I don't have room for another machine! LOL
ReplyDelete~Kris~
Beautiful card! I love the mix of patterns and colors. The new Explore isn't in my budget right now, but if it is as good as promised I will definitely consider it in the future.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card and I would love to have that cartridge and the matching stamps. I wont be getting any new machines at this point ----Nancy
ReplyDeleteI would love to actually be able to try the new Explore before buying it. I bought the Imagine a couple of years ago without trying it, and it was a waste of money. Hopefully someone in my area will be demonstrating it.
ReplyDeleteI love your idea. I am using the Expression and I'm OK with it. I need to learn more about the Explore. Thanks for the chance to win! I really want it! Cat N
ReplyDeleteI already have a Create and an Expression so I'm in no rush. My experience with Provo Craft is to not buy their products when they first come out because there are always so many problems. I'll wait on this one for now. Love your card and that paper is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLeslie
I would love to actually be able to try the new Explore before buying it. I bought the Imagine a couple of years ago without trying it, And now wishing I had waited a little longer and kept using the 6 inch personal cutter. I did LOTs with it...But I doolove the 3 Close to my heart cartridges...EXCEPT for figuring out which direction it is going to cut..horiz or vertical. I need to keep notes in a journal with sketch drawings and settings so I remember. I'd love to win cartridges though!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! Love your card...so pretty! I probably won't be getting the Explore (until all the bells and whistles are available, i.e., sending to your printer and then cutting ability). I saw a video from Melody Lane which was later removed (per PC request), and she said the printing thing won't be available till mid summer....so why release a machine if it's not ready? and the added wifi cost, and not android compatible....so many things to consider before I chunk more money into Cricut (I have the E, the E2 Anniversary, the Cake, the Baby Bug, the Gypsy (which I love) and am really getting the hang of the craft room, as well as approx. 270+ cartridges)...Really??...learn a new designing system again? Thanks for letting me get this out there and off my chest!
ReplyDeleteI have really thought about buying the new Expression, but I am going to wait first to see the price and then see how many issues there are with it. It would be nice if there was a blog or website where we could see what the people that got to beta test it. Thanks for all of your wonderful cards and tips - you are so dang creative!
ReplyDeleteLove that card and the Ariana papers! It is definitely SO Anna Griffin! I had made "suggestions" to CTMH (alot!) to have more flowery vintage type papers, and this Spring Idea Book sure did that! Love how your combined the navy blue with those papers! I also really appreciate your little videos. They are very inspiring! I won't be getting the new Explore anytime soon as it took me FOREVER to save for the Expression that I have. It's "reconditioned" as all I could afford, but LOVE it so much and have used CCR and it is easy and I'm so happy with it all. I would wait probably a couple of years before I even would consider the Explore, to let all the bugs get worked out.
ReplyDeleteLove the card thanks for the chance at some goodies No I M passing on the Explore I have no more room..LOLOLOL
ReplyDeleteLovely card. and I like the quickness!
ReplyDeleteI'm not thinking of getting the Explore. I am not one of those people who have to have the newest thing right away. I prefer to wait and see how others like it before I jump in. After saying that I love my Expression. Really like the Thank You card, Thank you for all the great ideas that you share. Jill P., Manteca, CA
ReplyDeleteReally like the card. So glad I asked for and received the CTMH Artbooking cartridge for Christmas, so I can try to create my version of it. I am not planning at this time to get the Explore.
ReplyDeleteI should have said Artbooking cartridge.Actually I have all 3 CTMH cartridges, including the Art Philosophy.
DeleteGreat choice of papers for the card and I will probably not be getting the Explore.
ReplyDeleteThe explore is very tempting, but I think I have to master my gypsy first. Like the card!
ReplyDeleteI won't be getting the Explore. Santa brought me a Silhouette for Christmas. Had I known that Cricut was coming out with a machine like the Explore, I would have been more than happy to wait. With that being said, I am using the Cricut still with the cartridges. I can't see NOT using the cartridges that I spent some much time saving the money for them. I wanted them and chose them carefully. Thank you for the opportunity to win, Joy. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteI will not be getting the Cricut Explore. I have 2 Cricut machines now and I just got the Silhouette Cameo for Christmas. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteAlthough the Explore looks intriguing, I'm not planning to get it at this time. Waiting for all the bugs to get worked out. Love this beautiful card! Thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I will get this one. I have a Cricut Expression and I have not yet used it at it's full capacity. There are so many projects that I have not yet had time to make.
ReplyDeleteLove your card & CTMH Ariana paper pack great color combination!
ReplyDeleteThe Explore-NO I will not, I can't afford it & can't justify good reason SORRY! With all the winter storm & bitter cold temp. & the shortage of LP.The price of LP has double, last month bill was $385.00 at 70% & this month was $758.00 at 60% full! With a BIG WINTER STORM hitting tonight, with heavy snow 7 to 12inches & below 0 temp. its been so unbelieveable a very hard winter, praying for a early Spring!

From what I've seen, the Cricut Explore is very intuitive and it sounds like it would be more enjoyable to use. I will definitely put it at the top of my wish list! I know when I see it fully functional on HSN I'm going to want it because it has so many time saving features--scores and cuts at the same time! The design team really put on their thinking caps and tried to incorporate new features that will take some of the guess work out of cutting.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get the creative holiday cards. I do all my cards with my cricut machine. Esprcially birthday cards. I love scrapbooking. It is one of my favorite hobbies.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful card. Thank you for sharing.

Great card. I would love to get the new Explore but unfortunately there is not enough space in my house for another machine.
ReplyDeleteFantastic card...using paper I didn't much like. The way you have used it, my mind is changing!
ReplyDeleteCute card! I would love to hear more about Explore!
ReplyDeleteIf I get an Explore it'll be after my Cameo dies. Not real interested, but I bought a baby bug, an original expression, an E2 a Gypsy, I love Craftroom and I love my Imagine. I adore the functionality of the Cameo, and Cricut's new products have too many bugs. But in a year or 2 yes!
ReplyDeleteThis paper pack is gorgeous!
Love!
Card is stunning!
I just got a pink Expression after my old Expression started acting up. I have oodles of carts and like using them. Before I buy an Explore, I may wait to see how people like it once they've used it a good bit. It sounds great! Lovely papers on your card! Love those stamps!
ReplyDeleteI want is soooo bad. I'm already saving my pennies for it.
ReplyDeleteHi Joy. I have been following your blog for about 4 years now and I am never disappointed with your ideas for cardmaking. I also have to say that the fact that you put all coupons from every store together is so wonderful. Like most Americans, I am a bargin shopper and having those coupons, keeps my crafting expenses lower than what they could be and that makes my husband very happy and me too! Thanks for all you do.

oops forgot to tell you about the new cricut. I have had an Expression and I currently have the Expression 2 and the Imagine. I am very excited about the new Cricut! I am thinking of getting it, but I really want to see all the things it does when I watch it demonstrated on HSN. I also have the cuttlebug. I have also wanted to have a yourstory set up, but I was too late for the sale.

I am not going to get the new Explore for now. I don't have the finances for it. I would rather get the Artbooking or Artiste cartridge first. I also want to make sure they have all the major glitches out of it first. Nothing like having technology that doesn't work.
ReplyDeleteBTW I love your card you made with the Artiste cart above. TFS
Donna
I love my expression 2 the explore has piqued my interest though. I'm going to wait til it comes out to decide if I want to invest in it right now or wait.
ReplyDeleteHi, hoping to win the Cricut cartridge Creative Holiday Cards so I can make them with you. Thanks for all you do.
ReplyDeleteLove your card Joy. Such pretty soft colors. Don't have plans to buy a new machine any time soon.
ReplyDeleteI love all of them!! I made a few too. Thank you for your awesome designs and your easy tutorials!
ReplyDeleteYour tutorials are wonderful! Well, have to go finish a banner I am making with my Expression 2. It is for my new granddaughter! Thanks for the chance to win this Cartridge!

I love what the Explorer can do, at this point purchasing it will have to be on hold. Do want to thank you for all your inspirations. I'm an avid follower of yours!
ReplyDeleteJoy I like this card. What I want to know is are we able to buy some of the stamps from you.
