Hi Joy:
ReplyDeleteMy favorite food on Thanksgiving is my Mom's Candied Sweet Potatoes. As a child, my job was to slice the already baked sweet potatoes and layer them in a pan with brown sugar, little pieces of butter and the sweet potatoes. Into the oven they went, and when finished baking, they tasted more like candy and less like sweet potatoes.
For Thanksgiving, my favorite food is whatever is well done and that I did not have to make. Otherwise, I am famous for my mashed potatoes, that is what I am always requested to bring. Also like some flavorful gravy.
ReplyDeleteAs normal I am late, Black Friday shopping took all the energy out of me. LOL, but hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite T-Day food has to be the turkey. So many dishes can be made with the leftovers!!
ReplyDeleteFavorite T-Day food is the pumpkin cheesecake I make, also the stuffing, parmesan creamed onions, and sweet potato soufflé. I love them all!
ReplyDeleteI love cornbread dressing with gravy, but pumpkin pie runs a close second! Love the Create a Friend cartridge.
ReplyDeleteThis is so hard. But it has to be "pumpkin pie".
ReplyDeleteJoy, I so enjoy getting your newsletters. It always gives me an abundance of ideas. You are top notch.
