As soon as I saw this "merry and bright" stamp in the Close to My Heart Sparkle and Shine workshop on the go kit, I know I had to make a card with it.
Here's a peek at the stamp set that comes with the CTMH Sparkle and Shine workshop on the go kit:
These stamps match the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, so I thought I would cut all the parts of the card out using that cartridge (see below):

I don't make xmas cards--too much work for something that 99% of the people will throw away. LOL I like sending (and receiving) photo cards. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Beth Anne! Joy, I really like the card you showed today. That stamp is so pretty and I love the colors. Those little bows just add so much!
ReplyDeletei used to make my own xmas cards, decided it took way too much time and too few people appreciate it. This year will be the 2nd year we are sending photo cards - my new time saving tradition!
ReplyDeleteOnce again this time of year sneaks up on me. I did start going through my stamp sets pulling out some to use and the wheels in my brain were starting to spin with ideas. I have some time off work this week and scrapping time is planned.
ReplyDeleteReally pretty! I love that ribbon! I just got all my supplies to make my cards. Need to get to work!

So far I have made 102 Christmas cards. They are so much fun to make. I know that at least half will be thrown away but other cards will be thrown away too. I make them, either sell or send them out. What they do with them after I will never know. I just know they enjoyed the card.
ReplyDeleteI will probably make a few cards this year because you have post so many wonderful videos I would love t try.

ReplyDeleteSuper cute card, Joy! Love to make Christmas cards! I have 62 done, and need to make a few more. I usually make 8-10 cards alike, then I get tired of them and find another card idea.

I love that companies are starting to make die cuts to match their stamps. Makes our life easier. Thanks for the chance to win an awesome cartridge.
ReplyDeleteI have started making Christmas cards but still have a long way to go before I finish.
ReplyDeleteI have just started, made a couple so far. Love your examples. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteNot making them this year. Doing photo cards into. Busy toddler with no extra time!
ReplyDeleteI love this card Joy. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLuria
I made a bunch last year and have so many left over and will use those... I am looking for ideas for next year and these ideas are helping... thanks.
ReplyDeleteI will be making Christmas Cards , but only for my craft buddies who will really appreciate them. Thanks for the great giveaway.

I love the ticket shape of the card base. I think I'll try that, so thanks for the idea! I do make all my Christmas cards (about 85 of them) and I've only gotten 10 or so done this year so far. Need to get crackin'!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Card! Love it. I will use the idea for a vinyl design!
ReplyDeleteI try to make my Christmas Cards, but I ususally run out of time & have to buy some at the store to finish my list. Best to be A-S than T-Z! I do my cards in alphabetically order every year, so the end of the alphabet is more likely to be store bought. But the Merry Christmas Card is one that I could mass produce, so maybe this year they will all be hand-made! Thanks again for the videos using the Cricut carts & the CTHM additions & stamps! What a great find!
ReplyDeleteLoved your card! No, I have not started my cards. I meet with a group of ladies once a month to scrap and that is what I will be working on in Nov.
ReplyDeleteI loved your ticket shaped Christmas Card! It has inspired me to possibly get the kit. Too fun and I would love to make it! Thank you for taking the time to make the video. Love to watch them and get ideas. Something different for this year to try! I so love to put on music, light a candle and get creative with my card friends! Nothing Better!
ReplyDeleteThanks again! Looking forward to the next video!

ReplyDeleteI wish I made my own. Applause to the many that do. I love receiving them.
ReplyDeleteI need to use up the ones I bought before I start making them...I have a soft spot for a deal and cool cards. My other problem is that people don't write me back and so I never know where to sent them!
ReplyDeleteChristmas cards aren't even in my radar. Trying to get through November. Just so busy. But I think a photo card is the best route to go. I always enjoy them more. Wouldn't dare throw either away!
