ReplyDeleteSince I've been banished to Orlando for the last many years, my favorite tradition is going home to WV for Fall. Even when I lived there, my favorite tradition was going to the mountains to see the leaves. My father always had Columbus Day off, and even thought we didn't get if off from school, he'd let me take off and we'd go to the mountains - still my favorite place to be. Now that my kids are older, I've enjoyed the opportunity to rekindle the tradition.
Cute layout! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall tradition is driving to the mountains to see the colorful leaves.
My favorite fall tradition is the first pumpkin bread of the season - usually the first cool day!

My favorite fall tradition is switching my closet so that my summer clothes are packed and my warmer clothes are taken out!
ReplyDeleteFavorite fall tradition would be leaving the front door open so the cool fresh air can flow in. It's nice to sit outside on the front porch and feel the difference.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE to decorate for Halloween!! It is the one day in the year I get to dress up and beg for chocolates!! Lol!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite fall tradition used to be taking my daughter to pick out a pumpkin for carving. but she grew up. But last year my grandson was finally old enough (6) to carve his own pumpkin! What a great job he did, too! My old favorite is now my new favorite again! The fall season is also my favorite to scrap, which works perfectly with your layout! thanks for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the cute and clever idea, love that wood grain look, I'll have to cut a stencil of that! Living in south Florida, we really don't get much Fall here....but we do see a drop in evening temperatures, which means long, evening walks or bike rides, open windows at night, and migratory birds. I love your posts, esp. with this new cartridge.....what fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the faux woodgrain background.
ReplyDeleteHi Joy!
ReplyDeleteOh I can't wait for fall! It is my favorite time of year here in Texas! :)
I have a question...How do you pick all the "paper crumbs" off that are left on your mat? It takes me FOREVER and is very frustrating! I almost do not want to use my cricut b/c of the time this one part takes. Do you just have a ton of mats and don't worry about it till they are all "dirty" I only have 2 mats and I have to stop and pick off w/ almost every cut.
Valerie
I LOVE to decorate for Halloween! My husband didn't see the point when we got married...but 35 years later, he loves to help me shop and decorate. I call him my "enabler".
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win.
Our family FALL tradition is to make several Sunday rides to watch the progression of the turning of the leaves to the colorful hews. Even our kids have started the activity with their kids. Also deer sightings and counts are on the trip. THen wwe graph the number on a chart. Great way to teach reading a bar or line graph.
