Teresa Collins Christmas Tags PLUS Giveaway!

Need some last minute gift tags?  Check out the new Teresa Collins digital Christmas designs!  Here are the packs I used to make these tags:

Teresa Collins Christmas Sentiments:

 Teresa Collins Deck the Halls:
These packs are used in the new free, online program called the Cricut Craft Room.  For more details on the Cricut Craft Room, click HERE.
Close up of the tags above and below.  I used glitter paper for the berries.
Here is a link to the Cricut Craft Room file to download:  Teresa Collins Xmas Tags

I did make and cut the file using the Cricut Mini so that is the mat size shown.  If you need to change that for a different machine, in the Craft Room, go to the Options menu on the left hand side of the mat, and under Project, you can change the mat size and machine you are using.

And now for the GIVEAWAY!!

One person will win both the Cricut Snow Folks and the Cricut Snow Day cartridges!
Snow Folks

Snow Day

How can you win?

1) Leave a comment below letting me know what your favorite holiday dessert is to make.  Mine are ginger crinkles (see recipe below).
2) Subscribe or follow the blog.

That's it!  Winner to be announced on Sunday, December 10, 2012.

Ginger Crinkles (from BH&G cookbook):

2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup shortening or cooking oil
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg

granulated sugar to roll cookies in

Preheat over to 375.  Stir together the first six ingredients. Combine remaining ingredients and beat well.  Add dry ingredients to wet, beating well. Form 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar, if desired.  Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake about 10 minutes.  Makes 48.

If they get too crunchy, you can heat them in the microwave to soften them.  But I like to dunk the super crunchy ones in coffee or milk.

  147. Ever since I was a child my Grandmother always made a super tasty Jello Nut Salad desert. The recipe has no resemblance to salad in any way because it is made from Strawberry Jello, Strawberries, Walnuts, and Sour Cream. Sadly, my Grandmother has passed on,but this desert still makes it to our dinners because my Sister carries on the tradition of making this yummy desert for both Christmas and Thanksgiving. With every new generation of family members, this desert has continued to hold its place at our dinner table.

  162. I love making sugar cookies with my son! We use an old family recipe and spend the whole day cutting out shapes, baking and decorating them. Everything from Santa, reindeer, gingerbread people, stars, snowman and snowflakes. Even though he is a teenager now he still enjoys these family rituals we've done year after year. :)
