Need some last minute gift tags? Check out the new Teresa Collins digital Christmas designs! Here are the packs I used to make these tags:
Teresa Collins Christmas Sentiments:
Teresa Collins Deck the Halls:
These packs are used in the new free, online program called the Cricut Craft Room. For more details on the Cricut Craft Room, click HERE.
Close up of the tags above and below. I used glitter paper for the berries.
Here is a link to the Cricut Craft Room file to download: Teresa Collins Xmas Tags
I did make and cut the file using the Cricut Mini so that is the mat size shown. If you need to change that for a different machine, in the Craft Room, go to the Options menu on the left hand side of the mat, and under Project, you can change the mat size and machine you are using.
One person will win both the Cricut Snow Folks and the Cricut Snow Day cartridges!
Snow Folks
Snow Day
How can you win?
1) Leave a comment below letting me know what your favorite holiday dessert is to make. Mine are ginger crinkles (see recipe below).
2) Subscribe or follow the blog.
That's it! Winner to be announced on Sunday, December 10, 2012.
Ginger Crinkles (from BH&G cookbook):
2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup shortening or cooking oil
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
granulated sugar to roll cookies in
Preheat over to 375. Stir together the first six ingredients. Combine remaining ingredients and beat well. Add dry ingredients to wet, beating well. Form 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar, if desired. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes. Makes 48.
If they get too crunchy, you can heat them in the microwave to soften them. But I like to dunk the super crunchy ones in coffee or milk.

I would love to get these cartridges. I could use them all winter long, and in northern Michigan, the winter can be quite long. For Christmas, it will sound strange, but my favorite dessert to make is brownies - from a box. I "alter" the recipe a little bit, and everyone says they are the best they've ever tasted. So for a small Christmas gift, I'll take a small basket, and add brownies, as well as a couple of other treats. Friends really like them.
