The Elegant Category
Provocraft released many elegant, beautiful cartridges in 2011. In fact, it's probably the hardest category to pin down for me as I just loved all of these. Take a look below:
Cricut Art Nouveau Cartridge
Cricut Florals Embellished Cartridge
Cricut Teresa Collins Sophisticated Cartridge
While I loved all of these, my hands down favorite was the Teresa Collins Sophisticated Cricut cartridge. Between the word art, font, elegant frames and swirls, it just can't be beat.
Take a look at some of the images:
I made two other projects with this cartridge and they are two of my favorites:
What was your favorite elegant Cricut cartridge? I would love to know!

ReplyDeleteDamask decor was my favorite. I don't know if art philosophy came out in 2011 (I think it did) but I liked alot of the elegant cuts on it too. It is my most all around favorite cartridge.
ReplyDeleteLove all 3 of them, Damask is my favorite. Your cards and give bage are great~
ReplyDeleteWhen all of the cartridges first came out they were all on my list to purchase. I always get caught up in the moment. I did finally purchase Art Nouveau before Christmas.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I created with the cartridge and I've posted it to my blog.
Great projects you share!
I love Damask Decor! I have things in my home with damask. I just love the look.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite of those is the floral.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any Elegant cartridges yet, but this has helped me narrow down the ones I would like to get. Question- How do you tie your ribbon? Is there some sort of tutorial? That is one skill I never seemed to have mastered!

Of the ones I have it would be the Theresa collins Sophisticated one! Love, love, love it!
ReplyDeleteI agree totally. The TC Sophisticated is awesome. I have used it more than I even thought i would.
ReplyDeleteSophisticated is definitely my favorite.
ReplyDeleteMy fav elegant cartridge was Theresa Collins Sophisticated it rocks!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you are once again doing the favs of the year I know it's a lot of work but gosh girl you do it so well....I so appreciate everything you put into what you do .... and it makes it so nice for me and everyone else....it's fun to stroll back and the fact that you are categorizing them like the academy award..luv it
Love your favorites for last year. I agree that the Teresa Collins is quite elegant and fun. I have the Reminisce Cart from CM that is fantastic and gives you many of the same elegant type of cuts. Last year I made tags for our luggage ... Disney here we come! ... then laminated them. They were great and helped us know it was ours.
ReplyDeleteI have to make new ones for our Disney cruise come next year. I will need some really bright card stock with each of our initials. No one can mistake your luggage for theirs this way.
Can't wait to see what you have to say over the next week or so.
Thanks Joy.
Damask Decor!! I'm still waiting to get it though! Love all your projects!
ReplyDeleteThose are great choices. Very pretty, I just cant pick one there all great. Thanks for all you do and share, God bless you and yours. 1205love@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love all of those projects and all the carts you used so it is hard to narrow it down, but I think the Teresa Collins is my favorite. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteDamask Decor is the best, in my opinion. After, I would Art Nuveau...just got that one for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteArt Nouveau is definately my fav.
ReplyDeleteLee-Ann :)
Joy, well I don't own any of the ones you mentioned, but I do have Paper Lace and think it's very pretty along with Lacy Labels. I have a serious crush on Art Nouveau, though, so it's high on my list of "if the price is right, grab it"!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to say. Teresa Collin's and Demask Decor are both so nice !!

I love this week bought quite a few carts last year during this week cause of what you were doing.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Damask Decor cart. Can the cards and envelopes be cut larger than 4 inches with a 12 x 12 mat. If so how about a video....

Beautiful projects!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I have a favorite elegant cartridge -- I haven't had my Cricut long enough to play around with all of them and develop favorites yet.
BUT... the reason I didn't buy the Sophisticated cartridge is all I can think about is the images of chairs and stuff. WTH would I use THOSE for? I can't bring myself to splurge on an item I'll only use for a few cuts...
Great picks!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite 2011 elegant cart is probably tied between Sophie and Damask Decor, but I love all the carts you have on your list. And you and Melanie are responsible for me needing to buy (when I thought I did NOT need them when I first saw them) Florals Embellished and Sophisticated.
ReplyDeleteI ansolutely adore the art nouveau cartridge and have been making tons pf projects with it. Its so different from any other cartridges they have come out with so far and im so glad that you have made projects with it for inspiration. I havent been able to find many people who use it.
