How to Hide Selected Contour in Cricut Craft Room


I made a quick video to show how to "hide selected contour" in the Cricut Craft Room.

What is "hide selected contour" and why do I need to know how to do it?

Well, in the photo above, you can see solid black lines on the body of the doll and the eyes.  These represent cut lines.  What if you wanted to get rid of the eyes so you could use a cute face stamp?  The video below will show you how to do that.  The image above is from Once Upon A Princess and without using "hide selected contour", you would be stuck with those eyes since there is no blackout feature.

    Sheila - you can't get rid of the Gypsy. You know you actually need it all! That's how they have it set up... LOL!

    Thanks Joy, really love the craftroom but still having problems with it co-operating with my Imagine, works fine with my Expression. Was wandering how to make a file on the craftroom and load it to my Gypsy, can you help!

    I could not thank you enough for these videos! I have the cricut create and for Christmas my husband bought me the Cricut Expression 2 and I was getting frustrated on the layer cuts. You helped me so much! I am so eager to start projects now. These things are not cheap and would hate to have them just sit there with my not doing anything with them. Again thank you for the helpful videos!

    I actually started digging into CCR the past couple of days and it is amazing how user friendly this is compared to DSE!

    For those of you who haven't gotten to the CCR yet, you will be so glad when you do. I just love it. I am getting so much more done with the assistance of the CCR. It is a real timesaver and enables me to do so many more things. It is great for exact sizing, shadowing, welding, and use of every inch of your papers. I can fit something into a small spot on a scrap of paper with great precision. No more guesswork. It's wonderful

    Thank you for the great videos. I have not done much with the craft room, I have design studio and just find myself automatically going there when I want to do a project. How do you save the designs you buy in the classroom? Is the classroom the only place you can use them?
