The card is 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" and the flag was cut at 2-1/2". Now, this flag is actually a shaped card - I went ahead and cut it once in red, once in white and then cut it up to make just the flag portion. See below:
I did this because I really wanted to use the red paper straw as the flag pole. I got the package of red paper straws in the Michaels' "used to be $1" spot.
I used some Trendy Twine in red and blue to make a pom pom for the top of the flag pole. Glue dots were essential in adhering the furled flag to the straw and also the pom pom to the top. Pop dots on the flag itself kept it at a height consistent with the straw. Here is the new Stamp of the Month for June - it coordinates with the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge and is so cute for the upcoming Fourth of July!
It's just $5 when you spend $50+ at my Close to My Heart shopping page.
