  8. Best of luck at teaching your daughter to drive. Here in Central TX I do believe that if they are not enrolled in a driving program or class they will have to take the driving test in car at the driver license bureau whereas if they take a driving program or class the driving test is included in the program as well as the written test they have to take. In my opinion it made for less time waiting at the driver license bureau in which the wait time is ridiculous most times.
Went to JoAnns to use my 50% off coupon that came in the flyer wanting to buy an embossing buddy but they did not have one. Went to Michaels and bought a Michaels anti static bag (same thing as an embossing buddy) and used Michaels 50% off coupon. Was surprised that the item was $5.99 reg because I figured it would be $2.99 like red adhesive tape, foam squares, etc. since it is a small item.
On way home a duckling was crossing the street. I slowed down & the duckling walked slowly and continued across the other side as well. Was glad that I did not have to hit brakes hard, that the car behind me was able
to slow down without hitting me and that the cars in other direction were slowing down for it to cross completely to other side.

  9. I haven't seen that cart before, I know I will need to get one of those. I see a lot of cuts that I could use. Thank you for the coupons, it's nice to have them in the same place. I used to be a driving instructor, just be calm and remember to say correct instead of right because they will turn right when you don't want her to. There is a funny story behind that one but I know you can figure it out. Just make it a memory!

  18. You are a brave woman. I still remember trying to teach my oldest son to drive and that was 20 years ago. I don't know if you still have to parallel park but we had some dented trashcan after using them as parking space markers. This summer I hope to finish a scrapbook for our favorite winery, make cards and do some day trips. Thank you for your tips, coupons and giveaways. Enjoy your summer.

  25. Every summer I teach my grand daughters (the 4 older ones) canning and freezing fresh veggies from the garden and fresh fruit. We've done many types of jellies, jams, pickles, green beans, made and canned spaghetti sauce, freeze qts. and qts. of sweet corn and my list continues to grow. (There are 10 children in their family). I love it and they love it. They always take many pictures as we work for their scrap books to pass on to their children some day... I love it and they love it, and of course, their brothers love it, too!
Looks like I need to get an iPad and a new explore!

  36. Hi Joy, Thank you for all the great ideas as usual. I have always thought you were very talented and now I have to add brave to that description. Good luck on teaching your daughter to drive. I know she is excited to be learning. I remember those days. It was the first thing we had to do as each of our kids got older. I guess it is part of letting them be more independent and letting them go a little. :( (Sort of like a rite of passage) Mine are all grown and have families of their own but I still miss the little people they were. Have a great week and thank you for the chance to win a great cartridge!
