[Video]CTMH Artbooking Cricut Joy Christmas Card

Today's fast Christmas card features some of my favorite Cricut cuts from the new Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge!
Take a look below for the sizing:

I decided to put a little something on the inside - I love that Ornamental Cheer stamp set (and it coordinates with the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge too!).
This would be an easy card to mass produce!  I have all the sizing of the pieces in the video so be sure to scroll down and watch it!

I used:
the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge bundle which you can get HERE:
the CTMH Ornamental Cheer Stamp Set - D1520 (click HERE to see more):
and CTMH Cranberry Ink (click HERE to find out more).

Check out the video below to see how to make this card (click HERE if you can't see the video):

One last thing - I had a request for my
Mexican Chicken Macaroni and Cheese Recipe:
-one pound of chicken breast, boneless/skinless, cooked and cubed -one small Velveeta block, cubed or half of a large block, cubed -2-1/2 cups of milk (you want the cheese sauce runny or it will dry out) -8 oz shredded monterrey jack cheese or cheddar if you prefer -1 small can Rotel tomatoes -1/2 pound of elbow macaroni -1 can cream of mushroom soup
1) Cook chicken and cube. I brown it in a pan, with lawry's season salt. 2) Cook macaroni in large deep pot so you can mix everything together later 3) Put soup, milk, cubed velveeta and 1/2 the monterrey jack cheese/cheddar and heat together in large saucepan on the stove. Stir frequently and make sure it doesn't burn - you could add some salt and pepper here also. 4) Combine macaroni, rotel and chicken in pot you cooked macaroni in. Then add in cheese sauce. 5) Pour into sprayed casserole pan. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes with foil on top. Remove foil, add remaining cheese and cook for an additional 5+ minutes until cheese on top is melted.
You could also add some onions. This is so YUMMY - perfect comfort food!

  16. White Christmas, hands down! Mama said they went to the movies to cool off in NW Fla, because that was one of the few places with A/C back in the olden days. She remembers seeing White Christmas when she was pregnant with me, so I guess I first experienced the movie in utero! When Papa retired from the USAF when I was 12, we had our first experience watching a movie in color on Grandma's big tv, and it has been a tradition ever since!
    Sorry if TMI! Dorothy E

I like this card, but do you ever worry about the front of your cards being "top heavy" when you use a lot of layers? I always try to balance out the weights of the my fronts and backs as much as I can, but maybe I'm just over-thinking or over-working them.

  35. Well, my favorites do seem to shift from time to time but at least for today I would have to say 1949's D.O.A. Starring Edmund O'Brien. Right from the beginning with the long opening shot to this classic exchange between O'Brien and the Police:

    O'Brien: I want to report a murder.
    Police: Who was murdered?
    O'Brien: I was.

Thanks Happy Happy Joy Joy!!! (See you at the Album Retreat?)
