[Video]Freedom Layout with Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut

As soon as I saw this patriotic layout, I knew I was going to make it - I love the 4th of July!

The entire layout is made using the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge bundle.
Check out the sizing below:
The first set of cuts shown above are all cut at 11" - note how they cut out proportionally and like the image in the left hand upper corner.
Next, I used the REAL dial size button to cut out some circles and my journaling block.

I added gems as a last bit of detailing to dress up the layout.
I used the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge and one of the included stamp sets to stamp the journaling block (see below):

  1. Hi Joy,
I love you videos, they are so informative.
I am not sure if you have a video on this already, but can you do one on tips on speeding up cricut cuts with layering etc. If there is such a thing. When working on a album it takes so long to cut out all the pieces to pages. Is their any tricks and tips to speed this up . Thanks for all the opportunities to win Cricut carts.. I have over 50 of them and can't get enough!! Have a great day

  57. Well another great video...love everything you do but since I am as dumb as a rock I would like some very slow 101 videos on say...how to load and where to place your paper when you have several layers you have created on your gypsy...I see lots of videos but they all seem to show the item being created and then the finished cuts appear after they have gone thru the Cricut...same goes for the CCR. Really slow basic step 1 thru 8 showing each thing done...like I said I'm sure everyone else can figure it out but my paper is NEVER placed in the right spots and I can't find any videos for dummies......thanks Joy ;)

    1. Hi, Joy. I was wondering if you have a Cricut Imagine? If so I was wondering if you could do a video on using it on one of the new improve cartridges. And I like all the videos that you make and I like how you show us the cartridge book plus show which object you are going to cut out and tell us what size and if you going to use the real dail button or not. I really like how you show putting it together and the finish product. Which is always a great and adorable layout or card.
      Have a great day ;-)

  73. I don't think I would have ever learned how to use my Cricut(s) if it weren't for people like you. Now I find myself helping others. I even help people in the stores when they are trying to get help from the employees there. Thanks for sharing all your hints and knowledge. The pop up cards still baffle me, I am afraid the booklet with that cartridge is very little help. A tutorial on that would be great!
