Here's a video to teach you how to make a pop up layout!

I have made some pop up layouts in the past, like the one above. I learned the technique at Club Scrap's retreat last year and I just love it! The whole process is quite simple after you make the first one - so simple you won't even need directions after you learn it!

For my post on Christmas with the Cricut (my other blog), I made this pop up Snow layout and knew it would need some video footage to explain the process and make it seem do-able! So, sit back, relax and enjoy the show! For more details on the Snow layout, head over HERE to see!

Cricut Stand and Salute Pop Up Layout

There were so many good cuts I wanted to make using the new Stand & Salute Cricut cartridge that I decided to make a pop up layout so I could fit tons of pictures and cuts. Some of the pictures are from a free stock photo site I found that is FABULOUS if you happened to visit the Statue of Liberty on a cloudy day like I did.

On this layout, the Stand & Salute cuts are the "God Bless America" layered cut, the two layered eagles, the "land of the free" layered cut, the fireworks (doubly layered and glittered), the Liberty layered title that also has glitter, the torch border and the white USA (again with the glitter....hee hee!). The year 2008 was cut using Graphically Speaking.

I will be doing a few videos showing some techniques about this layout. Probably next week I will get those done. This week is flying by....

AND GREAT AMERICAN SCRAPBOOK CONVENTION IS TODAY-SATURDAY in Arlington, Texas. I'll be there today and tomorrow! Hope to see you there!
