Here are the cuts I made with the sizing:
I managed to figure out what sizes to cut these ornaments out at even though they were real dial size - these sizes work so just go with it (wink!).
The gold glitter paper was particularly thick so I multi-cut it twice. I also used a new sticky mat and taped the edges with painter's tape. There's nothing more frustrating than ruining or mis-cutting expensive glitter paper!
I made the background paper (cream paper behind garland) using the "hide select contour" feature in the Cricut Craft Room. You can see a video on how to do that HERE.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift bag! You have so many good ideas using the Artbooking cartridge.
ReplyDeleteI bet that beautiful bag will be passed around to friends and family for years to come. Great job. I'd have put the bow on the large center ornament or, alternatively, used the same ribbon as the "hanging" ribbons and attached small bows made from it on each ornament. Does that make sense? I'm tired. TFS, Joy, another great easy project.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Such a gorgeous bag. It looks perfect with the bow at the top.

Lovely bag! How nice to get a bag that sparkles and the background is a nice touch. I think the single bow is elegant.

Love your gift bag! Always appreciate your videos!
ReplyDeleteJoy I would have liked the bow on the center ornament...where one would put a bow on the top of the ornament.
ReplyDeleteLoved the card but that's where I'd put the red bow.

Love all your videos and ideas. Have not yet started to shop.
ReplyDeleteJoy, this gift bag is so beautiful! If I gave someone something in it, I would probably want the bag back. Haha! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI also loved the ribbons at the top of each ornament, but I applaud your judgement to make it less busy and let the present inside be the star.
