Here's a fun St. Patty's Day card for you! Actually, you could send this anytime someone had something good happen to them.
I can't believe how fast March is flying by and the holidays are just stacked up against one another. Two weeks until Easter! YIKES!
I love this fun Leprechaun from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge. If you are a fan of the Create a Critter cartridge, I suggest you check out Simply Charmed because it's got lots of cute images and sayings. LOVE IT!
Cuts:
- Leprechaun - From Cricut Simply Charmed Cartridge cut at 3.5"
- "Lucky Day" - From the Cricut Stamping Cartridge cut at 1.25"
- Scalloped Circle card - From Cricut Life's A Party cartridge cut at 5.5"
- Inner yellow Circle - From Cricut Plantin' Schoolbook Cartridge cut at 5"
I tried to get this side view so that you could see that the dark green is actually glitter paper. I also used some Stickles on the buckle and coat. My friend Lisa LOVES Stickles and has shown me the light of how much they can enhance a project. This one's for you, Lisa!
I admit that I messed up the gold Stickle section by getting it inside the buckle part. So, after I tried to scrape it off, which didn't work, I pulled out my black Stickles and put a big glob in the center so it looked good again.
Do you use Stickles?

ReplyDeleteI like stickles okay. Then I started making cards for Operation Write Home and any sort of glitter is a big NO NO so I tend to forget about stickles for my personal projects.
That's so cute! I agree with you that Simply Charmed is a great cartridge. Yes, I like to use Stickles, although I'll admit I often don't because I'm running behind and don't have time to let my project dry. Thanks for sharing your adorable card!
ReplyDeleteHi, I like the card you made for St. Patrick Day it is so cute. But I don't have any of them cartridge so guess I will have to try something else for that holiday. Thank you for sharing.

I love your card. I too mess up with my Stickles sometimes. They aren't the easiest to control but I still love the effect of them. I'm definitely going to have to check out Simply Charmed cartridge because I do love my Create A Critter.

Hi, Joy I came back today to look at the card again. I was wondering what are stickles. Because I remember you say something about it for the buckel on the hat.
ReplyDeleteThank you
