February Cricut Cartridge Releases!

Wait until you see this month's Cricut cartridges!  It is a smaller release but all three of the cartridges are outstanding.

1) Cricut Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2

There are more boxes on the cartridge than shown above.

This long awaited follow up to the very popular Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut cartridge comes with a new feature.  It has the ability to score your project before you even cut it out!  How cool is that!  A scoring blade is being sold that will work with this cartridge and more in the future.  Very convenient for scoring that milk carton, which is a bear without this.

So, how will this work?  Take a look at the handbook page below:

The base cut is for the milk carton in one piece.  The shift to the base is actually the scoring that goes with the base cut.  So to cut the base milk carton, you would first use the SHIFT-Base milk carton key to score with the scoring blade.  Then hit "Load Mat".  Replace scoring blade with cutting blade. Then cut the Base Milk Carton.  The "Load Mat" returns the blade back to the original starting point, which is essential for this to work.

Above, you can see the next two feature keys (Box Section 1 and Box Section 2).  Those work the same way and are so you can make a much larger milk carton and then piece it together.

Now, this cartridge also has some really fun tags, cards, envelopes, word art and skinny word art to use with the new gel pens Provo Craft is coming out with - so fun!  You can see the web handbook HERE.  Also, there are assembly instructions HERE.

This cartridge is already shipping and people are making gorgeous things with it on the Cricut message board.  I plan on using it frequently!

2) Cricut Garden Soup

This cartridge has some fun, funky word art and garden type images!  It has some great bees and bee sayings, for the bee lovers out there.  I made a fun bag using the bee images that you'll see next week.

3) Cricut Creative Memories Divine Wedding Cartridge

Another winner!  Some really, really great word art and monograms on this cartridge.  In fact, those two things really sell this cartridge.  Loving it!  This will need to purchased through a Creative Memories consultant.

And now, a giveaway!
