Airplane Pop Up Card Video and Tutorial

Today's card comes from the Pop Up Neighborhood Cricut cartridge.  I love this airplane and I thought that having it fly over the field would be fun.

Here's a peek at the handbook pages so you know what I'm talking about below:

I cut the card for the airplane as shown above at 4".  It cuts a little larger than 4" high, though.  Then I cut the airplane at 2", all layers.  I cut the pop up airplane at 3-1/2".

I cut the field shown above on the accessory layer at 2".  The background cloud paper is from the Cricut Imagine Hopscotch cartridge.

Below is the inside of the card with the plane popped up.
Here's some side views.

Here is a video tutorial showing how to make the pop up portion of the card (click HERE if you can't seen it):

  28. You all know that you can do this w/out this cartridge right? All you have to do is make the little tabs, and fold it the correct way for your card. This way you aren't limited to what you can use, you can use ANYTHING from ANY cart.
