New Campin' Critters Cricut Cartridge and Project!

Hello Sunday!  Here is my first project with this month's release of the new cartridges.  This layout uses only one cartridge, Cricut Campin' Critters and features eight different cuts on it.









I added wiggle eyes to the skunk above as I didn't like how the eyes cut out.  For those of you wondering, fortunately, there were no skunks at this campout!  However, there were packs of coyotes that howled most of the night!


I love the badge feature on this cartridge!  The images all layer from the bottom up and were very easy to put together.

Here, I wanted to add more photos to the layout so I used some "flip flaps" from Close to My Heart to do so.  I had to tie that section down with some ribbon.  All paper and cardstock was from Close to My Heart, courtesy of Melanie!

    I love this cartridge. I love this page. i love camping, but not sure if i could do in at 32 degrees. My son starts cub scouts next year and i i know we will have to do this. Did i say i love this cartridge. all the cuts and everything. must have it. NOW. thanks for sharing.

    Glad your feeling better Joy! Love the Layout! I have lots of pictures like this because of my Boys being in the Cub Scouts! I can use this cartridge to catch up on ALL those photos! I also like the wiggly eyes! LOL

    What an adorable LO! I want this cartridge so bad... yes, I *almost* spent the extra to get it early from Cricut.com but I'm heading to CHA so I couldn't bring myself to spend the money on it.... but all bets are off when I get home :)

    This layout is so cute. I love the colors/textures - especially the plaid. Once you have the flip flaps in place and tied, and you put the page in your scrapbook, how do you access the photos? Do you have to take the page out of the protector? (I'm obviously new to scrapbooking, and have thought the same thing about the cute little journaling cards in envelopes!) - any help appreciated! Thanks!

    Glad you are feeling better--that ol' flu bug can really knock you down--I love your layout and this new cart--geez there goes my scrap budget out the window again:) I have the same paper from CTMH with using it to scrap pics of both my son's and daughter's camping trips. The paper combined with this cart are just perfect.

    My favorite has to be Kate's ABCs. I loved Nate's ABCs so that might be why. Second on my list would be Baby Steps. I'm going to have to get that one as I am going to be a grandma for the first time! I'm looking forward to having some fun in the nusery with the Baby Steps cartridge.
