Very cool video. Thanks For Sharing.I would like to get one of these babies but, unless I get rich all of a sudden. I just don't see it happening. Unless if Provocraft wants me to be a consumer product tester. I have kids who need stuff and I already have an Expression and 80 or so cartridges and a Gypsy. So Mom has enough stuff.
ReplyDeleteBut, I would love to be one of the many who can afford to get it. Can't wait to see what you gals will make with them.
Thanks for the video!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video Joy!! One question I have is will it cut without printing (like the other machines) for those of us that have the old carts plus a TON of cardstock and papers that we need to use up??
ReplyDeleteAlso, do they still plan on releasing cartridges regularly for those of us with the older machines or are they going to focus on just releasing cartridges for this new machine??
This is exciting, but I like the challenge of choosing my "papers" to layer and enjoy. I'm sure by Christmas it will be at the top my the list for DH Santa. I have the same question as others - will it work with Design Studio?
ReplyDeleteHope you and Melanie are having a BLAST.. so sad I wasn't able to come.... :-(
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. Though pricey, I can imagine doing some awesome projects!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video. I'm still not sure about this machine. Great info though!!
ReplyDeleteGreat video Joy!!!I guess my question would be, can it be used like the Expression? just plain old cutting, I pick the paper or does it have to be coloured then cut?
ReplyDeletethanks for the update, I am sure you all are having a great time, can't wait to see more
Cool but too expensive!

ReplyDeleteIt's very cool, but not worth the price.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this video! Can't wait to see/hear more as people start actually using them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video. How cool to see what is up and coming. I can't wait to see what is made with it in the future :)
ReplyDeleteWow!! I'm new to Cricut Expression and now this machine comes out! Looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video.
I do love the new machine. Maybe some day when the price goes down a bit I can put it on my Christmas wish list!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed the video. All I can say is "WOW." Unbelievable! A little out of my reach but that's o.k.
ReplyDeleteAn awesome machine!

thanks for sharing...but out of my price rsnge...can't wait to see what you will make with it
ReplyDeleteThis looks pretty cool. It is just a little too expensive.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it could be a great machine. But my thought is where does a person stop with buying different machines. The price is too pricey for me plus I have many cartridges already and lots of paper to use. TFS
ReplyDeleteLooks really interesting! Can't wait to see it in real life.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video.
ReplyDeleteWow! Looks very cool, we will just have to see. TFS!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joy. Wow -what a machine

Great video! I want one!
ReplyDeleteUH OH! I hope the box isn't too big to sneak into the house!!!!!

It is sad to admit but I have had my expression for about five years and this summer I have finally learned how to use it to the fullest. After devoting my summer to "playing" I have learned the art of layering. And now this machine will do it for me. Too funny and a very cool toy. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video and it looks like a cool toy, but not for me. I have enough trouble now paying for ink cartridges for my printer and if I was printing all my own paper! I don't think so. Plus I like handling the actual paper and making things as opposed to the machine doing it all.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that some people will love it for all the reasons that I don't though and I just hope as someone else mentioned that they continue to design for the Expression also.
Looks interesting, but pricey! Will have to save up for this one, maybe ask for it for Christmas from my Kids and Hubby
ReplyDeleteWHAT A GREAT ADDITION TO THE CRICUT WORLD!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great video Joy! You will have to see my comments on your other blog with Everyday Cricut. I really appreciate all the info. you share with us. We learn so much from you. I wish I could be at CHA! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWow! This looks really cool! Thank you for sharing this video with us and hope you are having a good time at CHA! Cannot wait to hear all about it. Linda

Oh my GOSH Cricut just keeps getting better and better. I need to win the lottery so that I can have all these toys.
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing us this on the video this machine is amazing.

Too expensive and takes away the layers, which to me are an essential part of scrapping and cardmaking. However, that said, I have no doubt you will be showing us some wonderful projects that could change my mind!
ReplyDeleteCandice J
Sound like you gals are having fun! Thanks for the video...same questions as the others.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the video, it helped answer some of my questions.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the video. Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! But I am still just a beginner still using the personal cricut. Will have to wait until I get an awesome deal as it is too expensive at this point not to mention the ink that has to be bought.
ReplyDeleteThis is not for me - husband saw HP and said NO WAY. Taking some of our creativity away. No more texture, stacking, out color and pattern choices. Talk about everyone looking the same! I'm upgrading from the Create to Expression (I've been waiting for the last couple of months when I first heard the rumblings of a new machine) - and the money is not the main reason. I want more control over what I create. Call me crazy!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Donna
Thanks Joy for posting this video on the New Cricut Imagine. What an awesome machine.
ReplyDeletePlease tell us Joy what you have already dreamed up in your mind on how you will use the Imagine machine. I can hardly wait for your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. I'd seen this yesterday too. I'm quite curious to see how sales will go. There seems to be quite a mixed reaction.
ReplyDeleteHow will I ever explain this new thing to my husband...he doesn't get me and my cricut buzz in the first place!
ReplyDeleteWow, but a bit pricy..think I'll stick to my Expression and use it more!
ReplyDeletegood to know about thought..have fun at
WOW!!! That is going to be crazy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with us!!

Joy,
ReplyDeleteHow cool is this. Sounds fabulous but still have so many questions. We all have so much tied up in the old system really need to know more about how our other cartridges will interact with this new machine. Love what I have seen so far. Hope you will bring back all the nitty gritty. Thanks.
Marcie
Thanks for doing the video and asking so many of the right questions. One more can the ink cartridges be refilled? I always end up with a printer that takes the most expensive cartridges.
ReplyDeleteYou ladies must be having a blast at CHA-S. Almost all of you have the new Cricut Imagine machine demo on your blogs!!! I want to play too!

Wow! Thank you!
ReplyDeletenot completely sold on this one yet, like my paper too much
ReplyDeleteThis machine is awesome! TFS, Mary M
ReplyDeleteInteresting.
ReplyDeleteI heard that the Imagine is NOT compatible with Design Studio. Are they planning to in the future? I don't have the gypsy and I love using DS.
ReplyDeleteWow! Looks interesting. Just upgraded to the E so will not be adding it to my collection any time soon.....
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!! Wonderful machine, It would be cool to have one. Too bad that it's too much money. Wonder how many people will get this new machine when it's out on the market. I can't complain if I do happen to win one :-) Thank you for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteYour video was wonderful; full of information. I was sad to hear that it won't work with DS or cut chipboard though. It still looks pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video! I know that when you and Mel get yours in Sept, new and wonderful projects will be coming our way. However, the price is extremely high, there's ink to buy, and I've gotten used to the "bohemian" look of my projects.
ReplyDeleteloving this new machine.
ReplyDeleteWow what great news!! Thanks for getting the video going so we can all see the fun!!
ReplyDeletevery neat,,, but a bit too spendy and complicated,,,, nothing I would be investing in very soon,,,,, Doesn't say if it will take all old cartridges so wondered if you can only use carts for this machine with it,,,,,
ReplyDeletenkmedar56@gmail.com
I got to see it in person too and can't wait for mine to come in the mail!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAbout how big do you think the viewing screen is in relationship to the Gypsy viewing screen?
ReplyDeleteAre the imagages easier to see and work with?
Thanks for sharing this video, although it is not drawing me in yet, guess I will have to wait and see what you create with it.
ReplyDeleteKim xXx
This is an interesting prospect. I will be watching for feedback once it is on the market, And of course, just like the projects you make with new cartridges, you make me want things I thought I was not interested in! Right now it does not interest me---but I had no interest in the Gypsy either---and now I have one!
ReplyDeleteShellee
Incredible to see it in action!!
ReplyDeleteI would like to know if the ink in this machine is acid free?? Also I would like to see more of what can be done using the old style carts as thats what we all have. Thanks Wen
