The Bare Minimum - What Supplies are Essential! A Top Ten List...

What scrapbooking supplies do you need above all others?  What is it you can't live without?

Here's my short list:

1) Fiskars Trimmer
2) ATG 714 Adhesive gun and adhesive
3) Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive
4) TweezerBees
5) Of course, my Cricut Expression and Cartridges
6) Cardstock from Core'dinations
7) Pop Dots
8) black and white pens
9) Chalk ink by Clearsnap and Memento Ink
10) Sentiment Stamps

Of course my Cricut E & cartridges (does that count as one?), ATG gun, Xyron (3 different sizes - does this count as one?)cardstock (I like it all - can't pick just one) big cropadile, ribbons, ribbons and more ribbons, embellishments, stamps and inks, white signo pen, stickles. . . and wait, that's ten but I have more favorites!

    cricut,paper,scissors,stamps,glue dots,3d foam,gel pens,markers,scotch glue (a must)
    paper trimmer...Okay going to stop. haha!

  19. My Top 10 - expression & carts, gypsy, SU card stock, Xyron - all 3 sizes a must but can't live without the little 'X'!, Tweezerbee, SU ribbons, CM paper trimmer, cutterbee's, QK tool with the sticky on one end and the scrapper on the other.

My Cricut Expression, of course my cricut cartridges, my NEW Gypsy, my paper cutter, love my Martha Stewart Score Board, the Xyron 510 and all the cartridges that go with it, and the Xyron X, and can't forget the both of you, and the Cricut Message board. And everyone who shares their works of art to inspire me.

  22. Pretty much the same as what you listed, but I also need a corner rounder, sharp scissors, zots, Mickey punch (small, medium & large), Mickey border punch, Mickey/Disney embellishments, stickers & paper and pen & paper to sketch out layout designs.

  24. I admit it! I covet those of you with an ATG 714 adhesive gun...just can't bring myself to spending that much $$ on tape. (The problem REALLY is, I can't bring myself to tell DH I spent that much $$ on tape!)

    Many of my "have to haves" are already mentioned, but I have to second QuickStik and I would add my Perfect Layers! Can't paperscrap without them!

    1. Tim Holtz design ruler 2. Xyron 150/250 3. Sakura or copic glitter pen 4. cuttlebug and embossing folders 5. Paper piercer 6. Creative memories multipurpose tool. Gee the list is going on and on . .. no wonder my scrapbags are so heavy!

  46. So many things are essential like my Cricut Expression, my Scor it board, Scotch Quick dry adhesive, Versafine black inkpad, Distress inks, double stick tape, a pair of very sharp tiny scissors from the operating room, Basic Grey papers, and cardstock.

    Of course when I got to camp I take something of everything else in my stamp room.

  51. Since I've just gone back to scrapping, I don't really have a top ten list. I have a large list of "wants" instead...lol. Like a proper area to scrap instead of my dining table (have to put things away all the time!), some cartridges for my E, those tweezerbees and an ATG! I already have a decent collection of papers started, stickers, and I started picking up ribbons and some stamps from the sale bins at Michaels.

    (1) SU Cardstock
    (2) 714 ATG Gun
    (3) Any type of Designer Paper
    (4) SU Ribbon
    (5) Mini Brads
    (6) Expression & all 65 carts that I own! :)
    (7) Envelopes
    (8) SU Stamp sets (lots of them)
    (9) Martha Stewart Edge Punches
    (10) SU Dye Inks
    I can think of maybe 3 more things that are a must have for me....but I think I wrote down "My Basics"

    2.Signo pen in white
    3.Fresh chalk (especially the ones with sparkles!)
    4.Zig 2 Way glue for making my mats sticky again.
    5.Sure Cuts a Lot software program for my Expression.
    6.Lots of pretty ribbon.
    7.Old fashioned 12 x 12 paper trimmer that I found at a garage sale for $20. Just like the ones the teachers used when I was in elementary school.
    8.Lots and lots of pretty paper.
    9.Rhinestone stickers.
    10.Tombow Aqua Glue.

  56. My cuttlebug is a must. So are my copics and tombows. Could NOT live without my Glue glider Pro. Also my CM corner rounder, and of course their cutting system. I still use it TONS. My sticklers are also a must as is my distressing ink and my Staz-on inks and of course my stamps, both my rubber stamps and my digis.

  58. This is too hard. You should see me trying to not bring too much stuff to a crop! It never works. I tend to think I need it all "just in case". My SUV always ends up packed full of my supplies. Before the Cricut came into my life, I had 2 xxl rolling totes and two CM Album totes...now...well...enough for a scraproom! (awillmon39@aol.com)

  63. Boy you just about covered it. I just got my ATG gun about 10 minutes ago so I haven't have time to play with it yet. I also love to have plenty of embellishments to choose from, brads, flowers, 3D stickers etc.... I also love to heat emboss when I stamp AND how could we forget about our buddy the CUTTLEBUG he deserves a mention!

  73. When I go cropping, what MUST I have with/or around me?
    1. Purple Cows 2 in 1 combo trimmer-both guilitine and rotary can cut just slivers off and guilitine won't cut fingers.
    2. Cricut and cartridges-I bring for my friends but plan my cuts on #3
    3. Gypsy
    4. Tweezers
    5. Hermafix gal but going to have to check out this ATG gun
    6. Cardstock and plenty of it
    7. Basic colors of ink pads
    8. Pentel markers
    9. Stickles

  83. There are so many items that are needed. The papers, cardstock, trimmer, and adhesive all needed. Then we add the other stuff that I love: ribbon, brads, the CTMH acrylix stamp sets and ink. My daughter has a little cricut that I get to use but would love to have my very own Expression.
