I was asked to do some demos for Provocraft at the CHA Winter show. I chose to make a wedding card using the Tie the Knot cartridge. The cake on the front ties in with the whole "Cricut cake" theme of the booth. I will be posting a follow up video on exactly how to make this card, as this demo video is a bit more about the silly and a little less about the card!
So, a little true confession time....it was scary up there!!! Yikes!! Oh, sure, I look like I am having a fun time but really, I was pretty nervous. It's a blast, though!! Later in the day, I got to do a demo with Melanie. I'll be posting a link to that later in the week.
Check out the video below or click HERE if you can't see it!
Now, a couple of shout outs to two blogs. The first site is called Scrap Time and has AMAZING videos and podcasts all about crafting. Christine, owner of Scrap Time, is a delight - smart, kind and funny! Check her out at this link: Scraptime
Next up is a new friend I made at CHA - Scrapguy! I love the man crafters!! He really gave me a lot of material for my demo above so I dedicate the video above to him - THANK YOU, Scrapguy! You need to check out his site because all week long, he is giving away all kinds of goodies and a grand prize on Saturday! Click HERE to see Scrapguy and get a chance to win some amazing blog candy! A shout out to Bobbie also - thanks for watching!
Don't forget that I am giving away a "you pick one" cartridge on Thursday - see this post by clicking HERE to get a chance to win!

love these easel cards. just make a 5.5 x 8.5" wedding card in this format & it was lovely. was able to put a pocket on the back of the easel for a gift card. love this cake card. i do most of my cards using the half-fold size--easier for my aging hnads and fingers.
