I love this notion: I'm a paper engineer! After I made the pop up page, I was searching around the web for more info about pop up paper projects. And then I came upon the term "paper engineering" - ooh, that just describes me! Through the magic of the internet, I found this site:
Jen Stark where this artist Jen Stark has taken large 12x12 paper pads and creatively cut and folded them to make beautiful designs. Her work is spectacular to behold, especially considering how difficult it would be to cut into and then fold all the different layers without damaging other parts of the design. Really, really gorgeous work! Enjoy....
I think maybe you have a certain proclivity toward paper engineering :)
