Yet another mini-book

I am learning that my favorite form of scrapbooking is to make a mini-book. There is just something so satisfying about the start and finish and general "do-ability" of that size project. I feel so great when I finish one - like I just accomplished something fantastic and meaningful. The majority of the mini-books I make are for other people. I think they make great gifts, are a nice unthreatening size and generally very well received. Which, of course, makes me want to just keep making more and more of them!

I made this mini-book for a family friend in memory of her two cats, Snooky and Jesse, who recently passed on after very long lives. With my Basic Grey obsession, I decided the Dasher Christmas paper would go best with the photos. Of course, it's impossible to tell that it's Christmas paper - the beauty of BG is its versatility! Anyway, it was quite fun to make.

  1. That is so pretty. For a moment I actually thought to myself, I could make something like that! Then I remembered, creative endeavors are not my thing. I become crippled with indecision.

  2. this is lovely, it must have taken you a long time.

  3. Your blog spot is always so much fun! I have to check it often! Scrappin Gramma

  4. Hello,

I just love this mini book and your blog with all the wonderful and pretty projects. Would you care to share how you made this book? I'm just crazy about mini books and try to make eveyone I see, however, my creative juices sometimes aren't flowing right.
