New All Occasion Box Card Cartridge with Sizing!!!

Check out this super cute Cricut All Occasion Box Cards cartridge-unbelievable!! I had to get it immediately!

Here is a look at all these cards and they were designed by Lori Whitlock!
It is available in both digital and cartridge form!

Here is an affiliate link to purchase this cartridge which helps support Obsessed with Scrapbooking - http://shrsl.com/?~b2du

Now, once I bought the cartridge and put a card into Design Space, I couldn't figure out what sizes to make the cards at.  And then fabulous Lori Whitlock who created this cartridge came up with the graphic below to show all the sizing by height you would put in Design Space to get an A2 sized card (4.25x5.5 inches).

All the pieces of the card come onto the mat grouped together and you would just go to the edit section and enter the sizing she lists in the height section. Then you just press "go" and you're ready to cut!
FYI, if you want to get this fabulous cartridge, please consider using this link which helps support Obsessed with Scrapbooking - http://shrsl.com/?~b2du

  2. I bought the digital copy of the Cric Box Cards. I found the handbook & downloaded it but do not understand where to look for the heights. Please let me know where to look & what the symbols in the handbook mean? Thank you.

  5. I'm not able to read the sizing either. Tried printing but it just pixalates. Is that even a word?! I always have trouble with sizing things. I have a Cricut mini. So it's basically 8 1/2 by 11. I really like the size cuz it's what I have room for. I am also technically challenged. Any tips or tricks you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Donna

  7. I made a sample of the Snowflakes Basket Box Card and sized it 5" and it is so small. Does the size need to be actual as in real size? I saw a 7 on the handbook page and was wondering if that is 7" for an A2 card? Going to have another try at it & will come back.

  8. Well I made the Snowflakes box using 7" and not actual size and the box is small. Two sides are 1 1/4" height x 1 3/4" wide & two sides are 1 1/4" x 1 1/2". Two flaps are 1" height x 1 3/4" wide & two flaps are 1 x 1 1/2". Switched to actual 7" and the snowflakes looked odd. I would like to know what it is that I'm doing wrong. I'm going to try & find a blog or email for creator Lori Whitlock. I'm somewhat disappointed because I've made box cards and this is not what I expected.

  9. Went to Lori Whitlock's blog which you can find link on my blog and found the sizing info I needed. Made the snowflakes box at 11.05" by using edit after bringing the images into online Design Space and 11.05" is not actual size and I left everything grouped and cut. Here's the link to my blog post to see the Snowflakes Basket Box and you can find Lori's blog link there as well:

I'm pleased now how it turned out.
