[Video]Quick Elegant Sympathy Card

Close to My Heart, Cricut, Artfully Sent, card, sympathy, how to, Explore, CTMH
Today's card is a quick, yet elegant sympathy card. Sadly, I find myself in need of these for some very special people who have recently lost some loved ones.

I wanted to make a card design that I could replicate somewhat easily but that still looked like a thoughtful card - know what I mean?

So, I grabbed the Phrases and Artfully Sent Cricut cartridges and went to work.

What I loved about the butterfly card design on the Close to My Heart Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge was that you could use the butterflies that you cut out again on the inside of the card (see above).

And the Phrases Cricut cartridge has some beautiful designs that make a statement all on their own.

These are the cuts I used:

  8. Yes! Sympathy cards are so difficult to make! I think I have used that image from "Phrases" before. But if I say with sympathy on the front I don't know what to stamp inside!

  12. Love this card. When I lose the dot, I replace it with a tiny crystal. Usually works even better than a brad.

  17. I haven't made gift bags...yet. I plan on using my machines to do so in the future. You and Melanie make it look so easy! I have made card sets and put them in paper-cut purses. I guess that may count! Thanks again for all your inspiration!
