[Video] Close to My Heart Noted Paper Kit with Cricut

Today's project features the Noted Paper Kit from Close to My Heart. In January 2015, this kit is just $5 with a $50 purchase or $10 if you add the minibook also.

I was able to make 9 cards and 1 layout using the kit.

I did add in card bases, brown and white cardstock, the "You are the World to Me" stamp set and gold sequins.
Above is a photo of the Close to My Heart Noted Paper kit including the mini-book (bottom left corner).
Above is a close up of one of the cards. I mixed and matched the paper sections as you can see in the top photo.

Here is the sizing from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge for the cards:

And from Accent Essentials Cricut Cartridge:
I figured out what sizes I used for paper also, in case you want to make a card like this:

My layout above was made using the remains of the kit, as well as some cuts from the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.

Here are the Artbooking Cuts (all REAL DIAL SIZE):

The scallop circle above is 2" (found it on the desk - think it's from Art Philosophy). The desk has many treasures...LOL!

The stamping on the journaling box is from the stamps included in the Noted Paper Kit.

Here are the products I used for the cards:
Art Philosophy Cricut Bundle:
Close to My Heart You Mean the World to Me Stamp Set:
Gold Sequin Assortment:

When you spend $50+, you can also pick up the

January stamp of the month, shown above, for just $5!

  20. I love card kits ~ the cards are usually pretty simple and quick to make when I'm in a hurry. I also like to use the extra "stuff" that's always left over to make other things! :)

  30. If it's like an Anna Griffin card kit (easy-to-use, beautiful, looks expensive when it was only about $1.50 for the card), then I *love* the card kit.

  31. I love card kits because they do they offer all coordinating papers and embellishments. One of the hardest parts of card making for me is to select papers and embellishments that look good together. I just don't have that "artistic eye," so card kits are a welcome relief to me.

Today's card is super cute. I love those self-stick sequins.

  35. I have had one CTMH card kit that I loved. I made myself make all the cards suggested instead of pulling the kit apart. I loved the results and now have 15 beautiful cards. I never saw the winner of the last giveaway. Are they notified privately?
