[Video}Make a 3-D Leaf Thanksgiving Goody Box with CTMH Artiste

There was a question on how to fold this funky leaf box from the Close to My Heart Artiste cartridge.  So, I set to work to try and figure it out!
I cut the leaf box at 4" - I know that sounds crazy but when it's all folded up, it's 4" (sort of) in diameter (ish)...LOL!  The handbook suggested this size.
See below:
Here are the products used:
1)The Close to My Heart Artiste Cartridge (click HERE for more info):
2) Perfect Fit - Halloween

To see how to assemble the box, check out the video below (click HERE if you can't see the video):

Did you know that there is a new Close to My Heart mini catalog called Holidays from the Heart, valid from Oct 15- Dec 31, 2013?

And a fabulous new promo to go with it! (see below):
These items above all have a star in the Holiday Guide, reminding you that they are part of the promo.  Of course, these are also available for purchase (wink).

The $100 must be spent on full retail priced products so "while supplies last" and discounted stamp of the month products do not count towards that total (SORRY!).

When you place your order HERE, the system will prompt you upon checkout to pick out your free/star item(s)!  Wait until the system prompts you and then click on their link to add your items.

The star items shown above can be found HERE under the "Holidays From the Heart Gift Guide 2013" tab on the left hand column down at the bottom.

You can also download a PDF of the catalog HERE.

Or I can send you one - just email me at joyster110@gmail.com with your address and I'll send one right out to you!

  3. Your video on putting these kinds of boxes together was SO helpful. Thank you! I usually have candles in some special Folk Art candlesticks (painted by my mother decades ago). Since we generally have a lot of people, I also do place cards. Some fun fall napkins and, of course, all the beautiful dishes of food are my "decorations."

  4. That box is adorable! Well, mostly Thanksgiving is at my SIL's house, so I don't end up decorating a table. The one year we hosted I splurged and bought a flower arrangement. Have a great weekend!

  7. Thank you! I've avoided making boxes like this because I need the instructions! Thanks for showing us! Thangsgiving table - decorations around the house, but not the tables - we typically have 5 long tables set up, so it's easier to decorate the house! Yes, I'm blessed to have a very large family!

  14. Just a note for anyone trying this...if you use paper that has a pattern only on one side make sure you place the paper pattern size down on the cutting mat so that the pattern will be on the outside when it is complete. I learned this by trial and error....LOL! scrappinlaurie@yahoo.com

  16. Love your box. Now I will have to go pull out that cartridge and make one. Wish me luck. I don't usually decorate my Thanksgiving table. Everything is usually buffet style because we have so many people(usually 15-20 people)

  28. What a darling box! Loved watching your video! I love Thanksgiving! I use a warm yellow tablecloth, iron chargers, and rust and yellow dishes. I build a centerpiece of fall items around a faux pumpkin that says "Give Thanks" . I use matching cloth napkins with color coordinated napkin rings, and I make a place card for each person. I love doing the grandkids' table, too. It is all a labor of love and an expression of thankfulness.Being retired now gives me more time to put things together. :-) I have wonderful memories of Thanksgivings where we all grabbed plates and sat wherever there was space, too!
